Sauropsida

Sauropsida is a clade of amniotes that includes all traditional reptiles and birds. It is sometimes used by taxonomists as a monophyletic alternative to Reptilia, although many taxonomists disagree with this, and instead choose to use Reptilia as a monophyletic group that includes birds.
