Prosauropoda

Prosauropods are a group of early plateosaurians, possibly synonymous with Plateosauridae. It is commonly accepted nowadays to be a paraphyletic clade, and merely an evolutionary grade, containing taxa which would eventually give rise to the gigantic sauropods. This category is for the "core prosauropods" as defined by Apaldetti and his colleagues in a 2021 paper.
