Ornithodira

Ornithodirans are the group of Avemetatarsalian reptiles that became the dinosaurs & pterosaurs, the former group including birds. The Ornithodirans lived from the late Permian to the modern day, & by the middle Triassic they had evolved into the dinosaurs and pterosaurs.
