Dinopedia

This category is for taxa that are no longer considered valid, whether it be from misidentification, an older taxon taking seniority, or even being faked.

Some taxa may be confused as being invalid, but instead are known as nomina dubia, such as Titanosaurus or Stygimoloch; while they have high doubt of their validity, they are not confirmed to be invalid quite yet, or are considered dubious due to being undiagnostic. Popular invalid taxa include Seismosaurus (now known as a species of Diplodocus), Geosternbergia (now a species of Pteranodon), and Dracorex (regarded a juvenile Pachycephalosaurus).
