Tralkasaurus, a relatively small abelisaur found in the Huincul Formation.
The Huincul Formation was an Argentine rock formation rich with fossils that date back to the late Cenomanian to early Turonian. Fossils range from the giant apex predator Mapusaurus, the legendary sauropod, Argentinosaurus, to the tiny feathered Paravian, Overoraptor. The formation's name originates in 1929 when it was named after a nearby town called Plaza Huincul.
