This category is for all animals discovered in Europe. There are approximately 50 current countries in this region, with a few territories owned by other countries as well. Some Asian countries, such as Russia, have some of their land located in what would be considered the continent of Europe, but will not be included in this listing to decrease confusion as to whether it is an Asian or European country.

Listed below will be all European country categories along with territories and islands in their continent. Some of these will not have any links to their categories as no fossils have been found in these areas; if any are in the future, please edit this list to include a link to its category.
