Casatia thermophila-Rendering

Casatia was an extinct species of cetacean known from a partial skull fragment discovered in Italy that dates back to the lower Pliocene. The fossil fragment places Casatia thermophila under the Monodontid taxon which includes modern Belugas. Based on its geographic range it was the only known Monodontid to inhabit warm waters.
