Canadaga (meaning Canadian bird) was a Hesperornithine from late Cretaceous that would have lived in shallow seas in what today would be the Bylot and Devon Islands of Nunavut, Canada. It was about 4.9 ft (1.5m) long and weighed about as much as a beaver. It was the last, and largest known, Hesperornithine, living from 83.6 to 67 million years ago.[1]
