

The Broad-billed Parrot or Raven Parrot (Lophopsittacus mauritianus) is an extinct large parrot that lived in Mauritius. It is one of the many birds that has went extinct upon human interference.

During the Second Dutch Expedition to Indonesia, led by the Dutch Admiral Jacob Cornelis van Neck, the Dutch travellers described the broad-billed parrot in 1598.
