Bissektipelta has evidence of filter-feeding, like the present day flamingo. With the study that suggested filter-feeding, Bissektipelta also has evidence of a well-developed sense of smell, poor hearing and eyesight, good sensitivity to taste, and an omnivorous diet.[1]
