Bannykus ("Half claw") is a genus of alvarezsaurid theropod from the Early Cretaceous Bayin-Gobi Formation of Inner Mongolia, China. Along with its relative Xiyunykus, it helps fill in a 70-million year gap in alverezsaurid evolution by have forelimbs intermediary between the typical theropod limbs of Haplocheirus and the shorter, single-clawed limbs of more advanced members of the family.
