Baisesaurus (Baise Lizard) is a genus of Ichthyosaur that lived during the Early Triassic period in China.
Discovery[]
The skeleton of Baisesaurus was discovered in 2018 in the Guangxi region of China. In 2022 it was described as a Basal Ichthyosauromorph. Its name refers to Baise in China where it was found.
Description[]
Baisesaurus is described as similar to Utatsusaurus.
