Morphological[]
The species and genus are described on the basis of the dental material of a small mustella from three Mid-Mionian localizations of the Iberian Peninsula. Analysis of fossils indicates the hyper-carnivore of the animal.
Habitat[]
The finding of A. araid also confirms the presence of a denser wooded environment than expected in inland Iberia during the latest mid-Miocene
