Albertosuchus is a crocodyloidean from the Late Cretaceous Scollard Formation of Alberta, Canada. Though albertosuchus does not have any evidence of making contact with albertosaurus, it is still plausible. It is said to be a very basal crocodyloid and is a close relative of a Spanish crocodyloid, Arenysuchus.
