Afrotapejara brennan-stokkermans

Afrotapejara ("African old being") is a genus of tapejarid pterosaur from the Early to Late Cretaceous Kem Kem Beds of Morocco. Its name refers to Africa, the continent on which the remains of the genus were found, and its close relative Tapejara, which means "old being" in the Tupi language of Brazil. It is known from a partial jaw fragment, which was initially believed to belong to the family Thalassodromidae or to be an additional specimen of Alanqa.
