Acrophyseter deinodon
Acrophyseter (meaning "acute sperm whale") is a genus of extinct macroraptorial sperm whale that lived during the Messinian in what is now Peru. It contains the species A. deinodon and A. robustus.
Acrophyseter coexisted with other marine animals like the swan-necked seal, Otodus megalodon, the broad-toothed mako shark, the ground sloth Thalassocnus natans, and the baleen whale Piscobalaena.
