Acidaspis was a genus of odontopleurid trilobite that lived from the Middle Ordovician to the Middle Devonian of North America and Europe. Members of the genus were small, only around half an inch in length. Acidaspis would have been small carnivores that lived on the seafloor. Members of the genus can be identified by the spikes growing along the sides of their bodies.[1]
