Abadzekhia (perch-like fish) is an extinct genus of Carnivorous Snake mackerel from the Oligocene in Russia. This genus consists of the species Marinae and Tarletskovi.
The differences of the two species[]
The differences between the Marinae; discovered in 2005, and Tarletskovi; discovered in 1985,[1] is that the Marinae has a smaller number of rays in the soft dorsal and anal fins then the Tarletskovi. The Marinae also has a larger number of accesssory fins.[2]

One fossil can be found at Oligocene of Georgia, one at Oligocene of Germany, and one at the Oligocene of Russian Confederation. [3]
