Me and @ScaryLookinHobo have been talking for a while about something I’ve been thinking of since I was @Godzilla 1795 . The thing we’ve been talking about is an awards show on YouTube to do with dinopedia. It’s so far called the dinopedies/ dinoscars, we recently confirmed the categories and today we talked about what we should do for the nominees. I said that we should talk about it ourselves, but hobo said something I think is pretty good, we basically just ask you guys who the nominees should be. The rules are:

Yup, it's that time of year again chat. 2024 was kinda a disaster compared to my original plans (cause I spent like 99% of this year working on something I should've had done by May lmao)

Like last time, these plans are just me hoping for the best, because ain't no way 2025 is gonna end up being like this.

Also I'm actually not the first to do this this time, Nizal made his plans over on the TU Wiki.

Overall Plans

Once again, I intend to help out on both the Spin Wheel Battles/Tyrant Universe Wiki and the Dinopedia: The Game Wiki. Also I promise to help moderate this wiki more, and be more active in general.

Tomfoolerous Occurrences will probably have 1 or 2 episodes posted this year, who knows. There will also be more Dinopedia User Spin Wheel Battles: The Netflix Adaptation, and hopefully the next few episodes actually flesh out the story.

Mimik Reviews Dinopedian Series will continue as well.

There's also some new stuff that I want to do, mainly a series where I draw all of the contestants from my Hungry Gays series, which will help me get better at drawing and shit.

As for non-Dinopedian stuff, I want to do more Pokemon Spin Wheel Battles on the Pokemon wiki, and I for sure want to continue Quilliam's Crusade, since I've had plans for that series since 2022.

Once again, each month will have its own plans (though we all know how that went last time).

January

The very first thing I intend to do this month is make Mimik Reviews Dinopedian Series #7, which will cover @Avalancher734 's series, Jurassic Planet. Otherwise, I'll mainly work on Funkin' Hour.

February

Alongside more Funkin' Hour, I intend to do more Dinosaur Hungry Gays.

March

Hopefully Funkin' Hour should be ready to be posted by then (though knowing me, it'll be ready in like July), and I can start planning out my next series, Ophiacodon Anecdotes. I will actually alternate between working on this and the Mimikyutube's Spin Wheel Battles Remake throughout the year, for the sake of efficiency.

April

More working on Ophiacodon Anecdotes and the MSWB Remake, and I also intend to do another episode of Spin Wheel Battles from the POV of ___.

May-August

The reason these months are in one category are because they will mainly consist of me working on three things:

Things I doubt I'll do in 2025

Mimikyutube's Spin Wheel Battles: The Tyrantian Extinction: As with last time, this one depends on outside forces. I will say that I do have big plans for it.

Prehistoric What-If: It'll get its time in the limelight one day...

Postman Postosuchus: I don't currently have any ideas for another PP series, plus it's way too big of a commitment for me to do alongside the TU shit, if it wasn't for Of Rauisuchians and Mailmen I would've had TGDB69 Season 2B done at least a month earlier than I did

Animation-related shit: The main reason one of my projects is to draw a bunch of Hungry Gays contestants is so I can eventually do this, so don't expect it for like a couple of years.

Yo dudes, its me Hobo! Wanted to make an announcement now that October is coming up and I promised there would be another editing challenge soon. Now, on to business.

Many know that the wiki side of this community is generally overshadowed by discussion boards (and most of the pages are generally less than acceptable), and since the last editing challenge I'd say was successful. This one is gonna be about the kings of the skies in the Mesozoic: the PTEROSAURS.

To start with we'll set a goal 150 edits, just to see how fast we're able to complete it, but this could be subject to change. If we get it done fast enough, we may just push it to even more! With that being said:

THE RULES:

• Each month we do one, we're only doing one subject, from the time this is posted to the end of October the theme will be pterosaurs, along with the closest relatives like Lagerpetids. This goes for their pages and any families/clades of pterosaur. Any other edits of other pages would be appreciated but wouldn't be counted towards your points.

• You have to self-report your edits here, to cut down on confusion. Just make a brief summary of what you did to the page (Ex: edited Hatzegopteryx, removed plagiarism, and added an image), this would count as one point. Now if you take a stub article that is only a sentence or two long (or making a brand new page for a pterosaur) and make it into a page more akin to the wiki's standards would add 5 points. Replacing all plagiarized content in pages with completely original info will also award you those. I'll give an example as the first comment if you guys are confused.

• Please don't just make your edits super low effort (such as just adding an image or a couple categories and calling it a day), that won't count here mostly due to it being an easy way to cheese the system and would clutter pages and this post to an unnatural degree. I'd like to be able to count these well.

• Please be civil towards each other, and don't start edit wars or anything.

• Oh and please only respond to this post to report your edits or ask any questions. Anything else will be deleted so we can count easier.

2. Create a story/series: one of these 2 are fine it can be a one off story or a full on series! Extra points if your story is liked by 5 people of the dinopedia staff team!

3. Edit 100 carnivore pages: Carnivores are scary so why not put more info in 100 of their pages! the rules are that you have to make it a noticeable edit that everyone can see (AKA extra info) and you can't plagiarize either if any plagiarism is found you will be immediately terminated from the contest and any points gained will be lost and you will be punished in other ways.

Point system:

You must accumulate 500 points before Halloween in order to get your prize

You must ping me in a post for the first two objectives and put on my message wall a blog post link containing your edits on the carnivores.

Aight chat I'm starting a new series

If you've been on Dinopedia as long as I have, you've probably seen a few series being posted. Stuff like Spin Wheel Battles, analog horrors, generic script-formatted stories, actually really cool novel-formatted series, etc. Today, I'm gonna look back at these series and write a review for them.

The catch is that YOU (yes, you) have to suggest these series for me. Every series someone suggests, I will put in a spinwheel, which I will spin after 1 or 2 days. Whichever one the wheel lands on will be reviewed in the next episode.

I will be judging these based on the characters (how much I like them and how much they contribute to the series), the plot (how engaging the plot is on paper), and the writing (how well executed everything is).

Rules

1. Each user may only suggest one series at a time. If you suggest two or more, only the first suggestion will be taken into account, with any extras counting as your suggestion for the next episode.

2. If you're suggesting a series for me to review, please provide a link to every post/episode/installment in said series, because my lazy ass is NOT looking for that shit myself. If a suggestion doesn't follow this rule, it won't be considered.

3. You are allowed to suggest other people's series, yes this includes my own

• Discussion posts and blog posts (if there are any that qualify) are allowed

• Unfinished series are allowed, because let's be honest, those make up most of the series on Dinopedia
