Yep but even that aside Scotty was ambiguous on Rex or Imperator
Masiaka because it had kids
Scotty was ambiguous on whether it was T. rex or T. imperator so they left it as T. sp (in the paper that shall not be named)
Potentially over 12t given certain information from Bucky pertaining to Cope's femur being too short
Most adult T. rex individuals are 8.5 or more tonnes with a few being smaller such as CM 9380 which I believe is in the 8t range. Stan is a subadult of 8.2 tonnes. Using only EFS/completely grown individuals (which is the most proper comparison), around 10-11t should be an "average"
T. mcraeensis isn't 9t (that's the far higher range, most people give it about 7-8 tonnes and even using 8t it's eclipsed by a subadult T. rex)
Alamotyrannus isn't probably T. mcraeensis from what I've heard (not sure if Alamotyrannus is even Tyrannosaurini or whatnot)
They are... not the same by average - from what I've seen the average adult T. rex exceeds 8 tonnes by a bit (Stan is not an adult, he is 17-18, so still subadult, 8.2 tonnes), while T. mcraeensis is about 7 tonnes give or take. asymptotic size is also apparently a much better way of measuring size so uh 10 tonne T. rex
T. mcraeensis is valid - it is also three tonnes smaller than T. rex, so, yeah
Because it’s misinformation
I'm fairly sure Hesperosaurus was 3+ tonnes?
Edmontonia size diff/armor.
They’re definitely coelurosaurians though
I am almost certain megaraptorans are tyrannosauroids, but that is still shaky.
I can claim this scientifically finally lfg
I am a monkey
I mean that Deltadromeus has a long neck, at least with the current noasaurid model, and its jaws don't provide much defense.
I'm taking it to be Deltadromeus is a noasaurid because I like Elaphrosaurus, but it might as well be a neovenatorid. Whatever the case, not nearly as much a taxonomic nightmare as Baha-
Allosaurus wins, Delta is basically an Ornithomimid with size buff
Dilophosaurus due to overly massive size advantage
Sauro no diffs (just a term for beats y’all) Siats.
Saurophaganax max size - 12.8m, 8t. Around 3.8 meters at hip. Average size - 11m, 6t. Around 3.3 meters at hip.
Not much explanation needs to be given further. Saurophaganax is the third largest theropod, maybe fourth. Oh, and Leviathan might even be bigger, but doubt.
And cavemen lived with dinosaurs but I guess that’s better out as cavemen lived with Non avian dinosaurs
Tyrannosaurus eases through Diplo lol, it’s only four or five tonnes lighter
Also, Nanotyrannus might be valid. Been chatting with Vividen’s discord and its arms are just too weird. We’re sure that at least the “Triceratops” if not the “Tyrannosaurus” in the Dueling Dinosaurs specimen are new taxa.
