Like duckhunt said they could probably evolve corvid level's of sapience eventually.
But they won't be smart enough to be making spears and stuff in my opinion. They're already top of some food chains and could probably kill anything in their ecosystem if they wanted cuz of their weaponry.
However, if they somehow are pressured into evolving opposable thumbs in a few million years then yeah probably. They already have the long ass arms and general body plan to function as a highly intelligent sapient species.
New ankylosaur, Zhongyuansaurus junchangi. Second species of the genus, after Z. luoyangensis in 2007. Paper released a few days ago but so far I haven't seen anyone mention this.

It's specific name honours Lü Junchang, a palaeontologist, and was found in the Haoling Province in China, the same layers as the type species.
Swimming spino is so mid I wish they used the wading spino instead.

Tyrannosaurs imo. Most people also seem to agree on the fact that they're Coelurosaurs. Definitely NOT Megalosaurs lol, that's for sure.
