It also highly depends on what we define as human, since it’s decently subjective. Some people (like me) would consider any member of the genus Homo as human. Some would say “human” is for Homo sapiens specifically, or maybe also the species most similar to us (denisovans, neanderthals). Some people may even go as far as to say australopithecus could be “human.” This would definitely lead to one of the most heated debates in human history, which is fine since luckily we don’t have to and never will have to actually deal with this issue
