That movement system is great and might provide some tactical advantages, I’ll keep it in mind for more derived models

When I was getting started on the project I was thinking of something akin to basic dog-like robots, but I didn’t want to use a basic land animal’s movement when walking. Do you have more ideas in mind?

What I meant was that the fungus is inside the machine

I was thinking the fungus acts like a nervous system of some sort for a metal shell that it controls. I still want the “mech” to look like a biological creature almost, I just want it to be unique and locomotion seems to be what I struggle with most

Guys Im trying to make biohybrid fungus death robots for a project but I can’t decide what their form of locomotion should be

Can any worldbuilders in here give me ideas

My brain made crack and snorted it without me even knowing

The one dream I have with any substance to it and its this shit

Trust me the dream was much worse than I described it

Alright

So the dream started off with me and everyone I knew at this beach with a stupidly steep hill that everyone was on top of for some reason. There was also this little shack at the bottom with a basement (WHICH WAS VERY IMPORTANT IN THE WORST WAY POSSIBLE)

Since I loved water so much I decided to try and go for a swim. After using all of my energy to climb down said stupidly steep hill I tried to go into the water but a lifeguard warned me to not go into the water, and so I went back up to chill with everyone. Then I heard the earth shaking rumble coming from the distance, and this ABSOLUTELY GARGANTUAN light blue kaiju rise out of the water

There was destruction everywhere, and if I remember correctly also a terrible flood. The kaiju was coming closer and I remembered that shack at the bottom so I rushed inside, and jumped into the basement thinking it was safe. Oh was I so wrong.

It was less of a basement and more of a poorly constructed mineshaft. I decided, “Looks terrible, but what’s the worst that could happen?” Then I heard the weird, almost human groans coming from a tunnel out of the side. A black, rotting hand reached out from the darkness accompanied by two glowing white eyes. They were people trapped in the mineshaft for god knows how long, and I assume in that time the radiation turned them into these ravenous basement zombies

Then I got eaten alive blah blah blah dream ended

I just remembered the most terrifying dream I had fairly recently if anyone would like to hear

Hey what if instead of trying your absolute hardest to make an accurate D. rex still a knuckle walking melon headed theropod

You just made it a small macronarian that ate a bit more meat here and there than other sauropods

If only there were someone to play bedrock minecraft with me
