Lord of the lizard eaters will eat anything from ants to fish, but don't let that fool you into thinking the creatures are totally vegetarian.
"For example, they'll take a raw frog and basically cook it on a stick, put a sauce over it and eat it," he says.
They also eat crabs, ants, spiders, reptiles, birds and even some mammals.
They often eat carrion, which is sometimes a good thing for both the lizard
Take the orange-bellied lizard, for example.
"They'll eat rotten turtle and fish parts and some of the other animals can be quite put off by this," he says.
