Hello, while I was browsing this wiki I noticed that the "Vectispinus" article is a near 1:1 copy of an article over on another wiki of which I am an administrator, which I wrote from scratch when it was first published. For reference, the article on the other wiki was created by The Dragnor and further expanded by me on June 9, 2022, and the article over on this wiki was created on July 20, 2022 by user Jag D-Q. Not only was the article on Dinopedia directly copy/pasted, but I have also heard that new policies over here want to cut back on text plagiarism.
I am not writing this in hopes of starting drama, beef, fights or otherwise, but I have a request: I'd like my hard work not to be stolen, and have this considered in the future. Historically, this has happened on this wiki before and I have painstakingly reworded the article so that both parties are happy, but this has not always ended well; for example, I have been met with pushback, which has resulted in edit warring and general unpleasantness. This I would like to mitigate, if possible.
Because plagiarism is forbidden on sister sites like Wikipedia (they have a policy page), I am a firm believer that one's work should not be stolen, and it looks bad on every party, I am writing this as a request to users here--in general--not to steal work from my wiki. I actively search to see if my work has been plagiarized because I am passionate in science communication (yeah, I know I'm a loser lol), and I mean no malice or dis-intention. If the page could be rewritten so that the text is not identical (in parts where it is a 1:1 copy), I would be more than satisfied.
Sorry for the long rant...
