Alright, so the election is upon us. I want to say thank you to @Kelbeam for giving us the chance to run, and to those who have decided to support me. love you all.

As I did with my previous post, I simply am asking for your vote. Of those running, I have been Staff elsewhere, and for a decent time, 2018 to 2021 on the Jurassic Park Wiki, so I know how to handle things. I specifically am wanting to encourage a free and open, but guided Wiki. People can say whatever they want, however they want, unless it falls into the territory of toxic and obviously wrong. As well, I am going to work with the rest of the Staff to keep the community alive, with as many activities and projects as we can come up with.

In all honesty, and to make it plain, I have been wanting to become Staff here after I was demoted from the JP Wiki. That place was my home, and I was booted for my own negligence, and because of the unforgiving hand of this site’s Representatives. But I want to make this place a little nook again, and become a protector of another Wiki. A lot of Wiki’s are dead, but like the JP wiki is days past, it can be brought to life. So what do you say? Let’s do this.

Hello, Dinopedia, Carno here.

So, by decree of Kelbeam, an election is being held to decide a new Moderator. Of six candidates, I am one. I wanted to make what is in a sense a campaign add, for those who are undecided on who the vote for.

My credentials cover being a Moderator, Admin, and eventual Bureaucrat on The Jurassic Park Wiki, formerly. I have been Staff here before, but circumstances held me back from maintaining it.

I have a strong stance on riding the fence, and keeping the place free for all discussions, but keeping it fairly tame. I am active, and mostly patrol the discussions. I enjoy doing community activities, like the recent contest, (congrats to the winner) and little oddities. I believe in trying to be as reasonable as possible, and give chances as much as is warranted, when it comes to violators and trolls. I am a realistic optimistic, though not originally, I used to be incredibly pessimistic. I changed that for the better, and I can definitely encourage others.

Dinopedia is in what I would call a soft-dark-age. We are not where we used to be, but are coming back out. I wish to guide us there, and make this place not just a popular, but inviting place. I really like this place, and have made it my social media home for the most part.
