Zhongyuansaurus

Paleontologists have described a new species of the ankylosaurid dinosaur genus Zhongyuansaurus using a specimen found in China’s Henan province.

New ankylosaur, Zhongyuansaurus junchangi. Second species of the genus, after Z. luoyangensis in 2007. Paper released a few days ago but so far I haven't seen anyone mention this.

It's specific name honours Lü Junchang, a palaeontologist, and was found in the Haoling Province in China, the same layers as the type species.
