The final Ceratopsian, we got 2 Torosaurus, the ones I like the most are picked
Hello, I'm building a park in Jurassic World Evolution 2 using only species in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. I would use the Operation Regenesis mod, but I'm on console so I just have to make the skins as close to the originals as possible, also some rules I have to follow:
JPOG species only (duh)
Building on the Isla Nublar 1993 map
Only allowed to use JP era buildings unless it is necessary to use the other eras
No curved paths or fences
Have one of every species in JPOG in the park
I've only built the starting area for now, and 2 enclosures
The enclosure on the left is an Albertosaurus enclosure, and the one on the right is a Ceratopsian enclosure which includes Triceratops, Torosaurus, and Styracosaurus, all the species I currently in the park have a population of 2
That is it for now, I'll show some more once I've added more enclosures, give me suggestions for what species I should add first

Five years have past since the fall of the Bataar family. Tarbo Mountain, while it still kept the name, was now ruled by a Tyrannosaurus.
The one eyed demon looked over the land in satisfaction. Ever since he moved in, life was too easy for him. Nothing, not even the Ankylosaurs have built up the courage to fight him. sometimes he wonders why, but it's not surprising.
To make sure that the land is reminded of who the king was, One Eye released a thundering roar which echoed all over the valley. Most of the dinosaurs near Tarbo Mountain ignored it. But there was one who didn't.
From a distance, something was watching One Eye as he reigned supreme atop the mountain. The creature glared at him. He's been at this for too long, when's this going to end so things could go back to normal?
Maybe that's too much to ask for at this point.
What was watching him was a young male Tarbosaurus at the age of seven. He had green skin, dark green stripes, and black splotches on his face, and piercing yellow eyes that stared at One Eye like knives.
"Any day now. You're gonna mess up. Then you'll know how Quicks felt." Speckles growled.
Though young, Speckles was quite mature for his age. Due to the conditions he had to grow up in, nobody can blame him for such violent tendencies even if he was just a mere child.
He was so tempted to run up there himself to bait One Eye into falling off the mountain. That's his home that bastard is living in. He'll go through hell and back if he has to in order to reclaim it.
If and when he does fight One Eye, he won't kill him in the normal way. Killing someone like that requires an animal to simply break another's neck. Speckles however, wants to do something unorthodox.
He specifically wants One Eye to fall off of something. He doesn't care what he falls off of. But he will insure that if it gets to that point, he'll copy what One Eye did to his beloved brother. He took his family, so he's going to make sure he dies in the exact same way.
Just looking at this monster made him want to kill anything he saw. Of course he tries his best to behave himself, but whenever he sees One Eye, something inside him is tempting him to go berserk and lose control. If it comes to that, he wouldn't mind. As long as he gets rid of that menace.
For some, they may call Speckles a troubled child because he's wanted to murder someone ever since he was two years old. But the boy himself sees no wrong in that. That beast put him and his mother in the horrendous situation they're in now, it's only natural that someone would want to rid the world of him.
Right now, Speckles was just biding his time. Waiting until he grows up to be as old as Quicks was. Then he'll make his move. And he'll savor every last drop of blood that gets into his mouth until-
"Thinking about that monster again, aren't you?" a soft female voice asked from behind him.
It was Tania. Until Speckles grows into his teens, there's no way she's going to let him go on his own. And even then she still won't leave him after he grows older. Some would call her a overbearing parent but considering that the rest of her children are dead, can anyone blame her for wanting to spend the rest of her life with her only son?
"I'm gonna get him someday, mom. He'll see. Nobody messes with a Bataar unless they have a death wish. And he looks like he's got one himself." Speckles hissed.
The mother Tarbosaurus sighed. Ever since he's siblings had died, Speckles has become far more aggressive. Impulsive. He's become too fixated on killing One Eye, sometimes she can't even speak to him because all he wants is for that thing to be rid off.
She watched as her son was bearing his teeth while observing the Tyrannosaurus. Tania nearly cried seeing this. Her other kids had relatively normal childhoods in terms of dinosaurs. When they were at Speckles' age, they cared about nothing but playing. But Speckles barely even bonds with his mother anymore.
"Let's just go son, there's no good we can do here." Tania whispered.
Speckles groaned as he walked away towards their current home, a cave near a river stream. As the two walked, Tania wondered if Speckles didn't only inherit his father's looks, but his anger as well.
When Patch was angry, he really was angry. Normally, he's a passive Tarbosaurus. Probably the most relaxed one Tania knows. But when he was angered, he'd go as far as goring someone. But it should be no surprise especially knowing who his mother was.
Speckles reminds her of him, but not in a good way. Patch's anger, while it won him many fights, was also the reason he died. He was so angry at the Therizinosaurus who killed one of his kids that he didn't think twice to attack it even after his child was dead.
As much as she loved Patch, she can't lie and say that his death wasn't his fault. But at the very least, he died to avenge one of their children and didn't go out just because he was looking for a fight.
It's something Speckles has in common with his father. Even though his siblings are long gone and him and his mother could just live a normal life out here, he knows damn well that One Eye won't let them have a normal life. He'll surely hunt them when either Speckles is old enough to fight or when Tania is old enough to the point where she can't function as well as she used to.
When they arrived at their home, Speckles immediately went into the cave which Tania found to be odd. Usually he only goes into the cave whenever another predator comes or when he sleeps, he never goes into the cave this early in the morning.
Something was up. Tania's been a mother for twenty five years, she knows when one of her children is going through something or is not doing well. She needed to comfort him as a mother should.
She slowly made her way into the cave herself. Sometimes she wonders how she and her son will fit in here once he grows older. But they'll probably move, there's no way this place can sustain them forever. Sooner or later, One Eye might spot them.
Tania saw her son who was on the ground but wasn't sleeping. She could tell by his heavy breathing that he wasn't in a good mood. This was even more obvious when he turned his head to look at her and something peculiar happened.
He glared at her.
Her own son, glared at her. Why? She's done nothing but love him his entire life, sometimes she doesn't even eat for a week just so she could feed him. What was going on?
"It's so easy." Speckles said.
"What?" Tania asked.
"It's so darn easy. Why can't you just kill him? That way we won't have to worry about a thing. Maybe throw him off a cliff for good measure." Speckles answered.
He's never spoken like this. Especially not to his mother. He's always been polite when it came to her, but maybe this is just another side effect of One Eye killing Quicks in front of him.
"Speckles... what you want isn't as easy as you think. It's easy to say, but doing it requires way more effort." Tania replied.
Her son shot her another glare.
"No. It's easy if you try. Quicks almost got him if it wasn't for that stupid cliff. So why won't you fight him?" Speckles argued.
Tania was taken aback by this. None of her children have spoken to her in such a manner. They've always been respectful. But Speckles is the only one thus far who has argued with his mother.
"Speckles. Nothing is as easy as you think. One day you'll realize that killing him is not easy." Tania responded.
"It was easy for us to ride and hide wasn't it?" Speckles shot back.
Tania couldn't believe what she was hearing. What has happened to him? She knew that he has become different after the death of his siblings, but it was almost like she was talking to a completely different Tarbosaurus.
She can't let this go on. If it does then not a single spark of the Speckles she knew will be left and he'll only be consumed by his drive for revenge.
"Speckles Bataar, I will not tolerate this kind of language. You don't speak to your mother that way. Everything I've done up to now has been for us. We're healthy aren't we? Just wait a while, like I said he'll get what's coming for him. Good dinosaurs always get what they want." Tania's voice had a hint of anger but she tried to calm herself down. This wasn't an enemy, he was her son and he won't treat him differently just because he's becoming aggressive.
"We're healthy, sure. But we're still living in shadows while that jerk can sleep comfortably in OUR home." Speckles scoffed.
He really was like his father. He won't give up a fight unless he's won. It's one of the things she did like about Patch because that meant he would be able to protect her and her children. But when it's in a situation like this, she's not sure if it's a good thing or not.
All she's sure about is that she needs to get her son under control before this outburst leads to something much worse.
"Oh, and good dinosaurs get what they want? Quicks, Zira and Zing were good, right? Did they get what they wanted? Did dad get what he wanted?" Speckles barked.
"Your father wanted to avenge his child, he got exactly what he wanted. Speckles please, stop this. This has gone on for too long. I let it slide before because I thought it wouldn't be a problem later, but that was a mistake." Tania shot back.
How dare she. Him wanting to avenge his siblings is not s good thing? is that what she's trying to say?
"Then kill him. That's all that needs to happen." Speckles repeated.
Enough was enough. The pressure was getting to Tania's head. Normally she wouldn't have an outburst like what Speckles was having right now but at this point, it's the only way he'll listen.
Tania stomped the ground with her left foot to get her son's attention. His eyes widened as for the first time in his life, he saw his mother getting angry at him.
"You think it's that easy? Look at Quicks! If he couldn't kill him what makes you think i can?! I'm growing older Speckles, I'm getting slower. All I'm trying to do is to make sure you grow older so maybe that you yourself can avenge them. But me? I... I don't know. I don't have the answers to everything, Speckles. I can't magically make myself win. Can't you see? I don't even fight anymore, I only hunt to feed us. For once in your life, would you stop thinking about killing him?! What is happening to you?!" Tania exclaimed.
Silence befell the two Tyrannosaurids. Not even the stream of water can be heard from outside as the two stared at each other.
Why did he have to turn out like this? She's been a good mother hasn't she? So how come her son is becoming more and more angrier the more he ages?
Speckles got up from his resting spot and looked his mother in the eyes. He may have had her mother's yellow eye color but he definitely had his father's gaze.
"Then Quicks, Zira and Zing died for nothing." Speckles bolted away, running as fast as he could. If his mother won't go through with killing One Eye. Then he'll do it himself. He doesn't care about size or strategy. All he needs is to make him fall, simple as that.
"S-speckles! No!" Tears poured down the mother's eyes. She rushed outside to follow him. She's already lost four children, she's not going to lose a fifth one.
She may have gotten slower, but that won't stop her from saving her son from a fate worse than the one Patch suffered. She ran as fast as she could and she could see him running towards the direction of Tarbo Mountain. As he did, he jumped off of some logs because nothing was going to get in his way today.
Tania ran right through the logs and crushed them with her feet. She can't let him go like this. Otherwise she will fail as his mother and she can't. She can't fail again. She already failed to get to Patch in time, she's not going through that again.
"Speckles, please!" Tania begged.
"You're not stopping me. He dies today! Not tomorrow, not ten years from now. TODAY!" Speckles declared.
"No..." Tania breathed heavily. If she ever builds up the courage to fight that red bastard, she's going to do it not just because he killed three of her kids. But because he turned her son into what he was now.
Speckles pushed out a roar. It was his way of letting the land know of his intentions. He doesn't even care if nobody heard it, all he needs is One Eye's fallen corpse.
He was almost there. The grey peaks of Tarbo Mountain were in range. All he needs is to climb up his former home and find that monster.
But little did the young prince know, that beast was closer than he thought.
A screech from the left was heard. Speckles turned to look at what it was and he stopped dead in his tracks.
It was a Torosaurus. A three horned dinsoaur with a frill that protected it's neck. Although, this elderly male only had one horn. The other two were broken off during a battle for leadership. He was recently exiled from his herd.
But the Torosaurus wasn't what surprised Speckles, it was the creature who was hunting the Ceratopsian. That beast was waiting patiently to see who would be the victor of that leadership battle. Whoever lost would be his prey.
It was him. His red skin and his single blood red eye was too recognizable to mistake.
The Ceratopsian ran past Speckles, he didn't even notice the Torosaurus because he was frozen in fear. His plan was to make One Eye fall off of Tarbo Mountain. But now that he was in the forest, what can he really do?
The Tyrannosaurus stopped to look at the young dinossur who was blocking his way. At first, he didn't care too much. Not until he got a closer look and realized who this child was.
A sinister laugh came from the Tyrannosaurus.
"You're Tania's runt, aren't you?" One Eye grinned.
Speckles was shaking, he had never been this close to One Eye before. Seeing him up close made him understand why his mother didn't want to confront him. Despite his scars and his single eye, he was a formidable foe.
"Oh, yes. I remember you. You've grown up since then. Not that It'll matter once I'm done with you. Tell your siblings I said hello while you're in hell!" One Eye cackled as he lunged forward.
"Leave my damn son alone!" Tania roared. She didn't even care if her body wasn't ready to fight. If she dies today, at least she'll die like her mate. Protecting what she loves.
The mother slammed all of her weight into One Eye and toppled him to the ground. He was pushed a few feet away from her and Speckles was snapped out of his trance the moment he heard his mother's voice.
Speckles ran back to his mother, the red tyrant began to rise from the ground. He hasn't been hit like that in years. Tania didn't even know she still had this much strength left in her. But maybe Speckles was right about one thing, perhaps she could be enough to bring him down.
"Mom, mom, I-" Speckles was cutt off as his mother nuzzled him.
"Shhh. Speckles, my little Speckles, you don't have to apologize. I get it, I'm sorry I couldn't have fought for you or our family much earlier. But now I'm not running. Like you said, this ends today." Tania growled and roared at One Eye again.
One Eye chuckled.
"Queen Tania. Oh, right. You're no queen, now aren't you? Come to accept your fate?" One Eye arrogantly voiced.
"You can keep your titles. I'm just here for my son. You lay a claw on him, I'll make your ancestors wish they were never born!" Tania snapped.
"Big talk from an old hag. Let's see if you can back it up." One Eye began to circle the mother and child.
Tania shook her head and began to circle around him as well, with Speckles hiding behind his mother. She looked at One Eye's lower jaw, the kick that Quicks inflicted on him was still visible with a gash mark on the jaw.
She now knows where to aim, all she needs now is a way to insure her victory.
"My children were healthy, kind, and only killed to survive. You? You kill for pleasure. That's not how things work here." Tania hissed.
"You think you make the rules? Amazing how you think you're still in control." One Eye retorted.
"I'm about to be in a second." Tania charged forward.
One Eye did the same as both of them butted their heads together. Because she was desperate to keep the last remaining spark of her family alive, Tania gave her all and shoved One Eye back and clamped onto his neck with her teeth. She threw him into one of the trees as he staggered backwards.
One Eye smirked as lunged again, slammed his head into the left side of Tania's face. He then pushed her using his head. But because his head was underneath her belly, she was able to use her small arms and she slashed his blind eye which made him slam her into the ground.
"That one hurt." One Eye shrugged.
The red menace was about to grip onto Tania's neck but with a well placed kick to the lower jaw, she managed to stop him mid way.
Blood poured onto the ground as One Eye's jaw bled again. He looked at the elderly Tarbosaurus in anger and irritation. How was she keeping up with him?
"Not bad for an old hag, isn't it?" Tania smugly spoke.
"You and your eldest son look the same. When you're on the ground begg-" One Eye was cut off.
"Enough with your words. If you think they will have an effect, you're mistaken. You can't trigger me with your insults. I've been through this thing before with other dinos like you. I'm used to it." Tania interjected.
"You're one to talk. Keep talking and I'll make sure to keep you alive. Just so you can see your runt rot." One Eye threatened.
"Says the one with a rotten heart." Tania smirked.
"Come then, you geezer!" One Eye roared.
Tania used her tail and slammed it into his face. But One Eye bit onto the tail and pulled the mother towards him. He then bashed his head into her face but she retaliated with a bite on the upper snout.
She began to thrash to get him to bleed. If she can't beat him today, these wounds she'll inflict will help Speckles determine weak points in the future.
Tania let go and pushed him back. Speckles watched in awe as his mother fought. She was holding out even better than Quicks was. Especially since that a cliff won't get in the way.
"Says you. You're no younger than I am. Idiot." Tania scoffed.
"Then I'll make sure you pests don't grow any older." One Eye shot back.
"There he goes with his mouth again..." Tania rolled her eyes.
But what they didn't know was that just because there wasn't a cliff, doesn't mean there couldn't be something to interrupt the fight.
All the commotion was sure to attract something. You can't just have two Tyrannosaurids fight in the middle of the forest without something taking a stroll to see what's going on.
As the two predators were about to charge again, they heard a sort of scratching sound nearby. Some would say this was just nothing more than a bird. But to Speckles and Tania, this sound was very familiar.
To be Continued.
What do you think?
Based on a a skeletal diagram by Brennon Valdez. Specifically, MOR 1122, a Torosaurus specimen from the Museum of the Rockies. I don't know if I absolutely love the neon blue spots, but I still think they look cool.
This guy needs more attention in media.
