Therizinosauria

I am creating an unreal engine 5, low poly shooter, mimicking battlebit but on a lower scale. I already have experience with unreal, making little projects in the engine, but nothing yet to this size. I want to stretch this project over a couple of years, to perfectly polish every aspect of its gameplay, to fill the hole in the market of this obscure genre of video games.

Think of it as an indie team fortress "engine", with unofficial server support, (unless it blows up so I have the budget to run a couple of servers) with 4 modes, that are all really simple, and community based map/mod support (built outside of the software), to help me out, because I am a 1 person team, while I will also release updates from time to time, maps, new classes, patches to the core game, etc.

The reason why I am putting this out here is because, the game, is a hero shooter, think of it as team fortress but if teams were decided upon whether you want to be a prehistoric reptile, or a human.

I carefully crafted the abilities for all classes in the past couple of days, human and non-human wise, but I dont think that my animal species have that, hit of biodiversity in them.

I don't want to reveal the specific species, their abilities, sizes, the variation in categories etc., all you really need to know is that at least in my opinion, they do not really look that different from each other.

Any recommendations for unique predators, or interesting herbivores, that could be added into my project, are highly valued.

Tyrannosaurus rex

Length: 12 meters

Weight: 10 tons

Diet: Carnivore

Individuals: 13

Tyrannosaurus rex was the earliest species of non-avian dinosaur re-engineered by CenoRev, It was chosen due to perfectly preserved DNA found in tissue preserved by iron. 10 individuals were originally engineered, but one pair has bred, increasing these numbers by 2. There was originally a larger clutch of eggs, but these were dug out and eaten by a giant Quetzalcoatlus. No major deviations from the original animal have been reported, although some now deceased “prototype” individuals had longer tails and backwards arm bones

Stegosaurus stenops

Length: 9 meters

Weight: 1 ton

Diet: Herbivore

Individuals: 7

Stegosaurus stenops is one of the more bizzare species in our catalogue, notable for the asymmetrical rows of plates running down it's back and the large “thagomizer” on the tail. 7 individuals were originally engineered, and that number has stayed the same as they have yet to breed. No deviations from the real animal have ever been recorded

All of the fauna and flora engineered by CenoRev are kept on the island of Hammerland 50 miles off the coast of New Zealand with some larger species like the Therizinosauroids living in the Congo and the Amazon. An unconfirmed sighting of a Ceratosaurus foraging on garbage was reported in London, and one man who insisted on remaining anonymous supposedly spotted an Arambourgiania above the skies of Ireland. However, these sightings are likely misidentified or conjure, as CenoRev only takes single individuals to mainland for show every once in a while. So no need worry about your safety

The theory I'm talking about involves Dromaeosaurids, Oviraptorosaurs, and maybe Therizinosaurs, Ornithomimosaurs, Pterosaurs, and Troodontids having the behaviour similar to that of the Black eagle and Shoebill stork.

Now, to those who don't know what the Black eagle is, the Black eagle (Ictinaetus malaiensis) is a bird of prey. The birds of prey of course consisted of hawks, eagles, falcons, vultures, and owls. The Black eagle is known for letting their children kill each other, which is similar to the Shoebill stork (although, I got that info from Casual Geographic and Be Amazed so I might have gotten and explained that terribly, so if I got that wrong, be sure to correct me). So the theory is, what if Dromaeosaurids, Troodontids, Oviraptorosaurs, Therizinosaurs, Ornithomimosaurs, and Pterosaurs did something similar to that of Shoebills or Black eagles?

Let's take Acheroraptor for example. An Acheroraptor mother is at the nest and it sees 2 of its children fighting each other, it of course watches and let's the stronger sibling kills the weaker one. Or, the Acheroraptor mother is away from the nest and then, while the mother is away, the older/stronger sibling attacks and hurts the younger/weaker sibling, and then, later on, the younger and weaker sibling dies due to its injuries it sustained from the older and stronger sibling.

Because the Dromaeosaurids were likely similar to that of birds of prey, this made me think, what if Dromaeosaurids were similar to that of the Black eagles or Shoebill storks? Think about that for a moment, Dromaeosaurids were similar to that of birds of prey so, if they were similar to that of birds of prey, they probably could have had a similar behaviour to that of the Black eagle, or, though not a bird of prey, the Shoebill storks. Of course, this is just a theory, a paleo theory.

Torosaurus vs Plateosaurus

Plateosaurus would charge at the Torosaurus with the Torosaurus trying to stab the Plateosaurus with his horns only for the Plateosaurus to try and slash the Torosaurus in the face and would try to slash it again only for the Torosaurus to slice his head off.

Winner: Torosaurus

Fight 2:

Spinosaurus vs Sauroposeidon

The Spinosaurus would look up and would see the Sauroposeidon with the Sauroposeidon rearing up to crush the Spinosaurus only for the Spinosaurus to whip out a shotgun to blow some holes into the Sauroposeidon's neck killing it instantly.

Winner: Spinosaurus

Fight 3:

Therizinosaurus vs Titanoceratops

Therizinosaurus would try to slice the Titanoceratops face only for the Titanoceratops to whip out a shotgun of his own and shoot the Therizinosauruses face as if the Titanoceratops mistakes the Therizinosaurus as the red spy from TF2.

Winner: Titanoceratops

Fight 4:

Herrerasaurus vs Menefeeceratops

Menefeeceratops would charge at Herrerasaurus and would leap forward at the Herrerasaurus and would try to jab his horns onto the Herrerasaurus only for the Herrerasaurus to scratch the Menefeeceratops on the neck with the Herrerasaurus going to the helpless Menefeeceratops before ripping the Ceratopsians throat off killing it.

Winner: Herrerasaurus

Fight 5:

Neovenator vs Zhongyuansaurus

Neovenator would just straight up kill the Zhongyuansaurus with a crack of its neck without letting the Zhongyuansaurus have a chance to attack Neovenator

Winner: Neovenator

Fight 6:

Centrosaurus vs Aletopelta

Aletopelta would smash the Centrosaurus face killing it instantly not even giving the Centrosaurus a chance to attack the Aletopelta.

Winner: Aletopelta

Fight 7:

Opisthocoelicaudia vs Dubreuillosaurus

Opisthocoelicaudia would charge at the Dubreuillosaurus and would try to slam the Megalosauroid with his tail only for the Dubreuillosaurus to dodge the Opisthocoelicaudia and bite it on the neck only for the Opisthocoelicaudia to break free and crush the Dubreuillosaurus with his whole body.

Winner: Opisthocoelicaudia

Fight 8:

Datousaurus vs Ankylosaurus

Datousaurus would chase the Ankylosaurus to the point where the Ankylosaurus breaks Datousaurus ankles and breaks Datousaurus face with just one slap of the Ankylosaurus club.

Winner: Ankylosaurus

Fight 9:

Lambeosaurus vs Isisaurus

Lambeosaurus gets terrified by the sheer size of the Isisaurus and just runs away not even wanting to fight it. (looks like someone survived)

Winner: Isisaurus (because damn it Lambeosaurus why did you have to run away like a little Shidaisaurus)

Fight 10:

Utahraptor vs Gastonia Burgei

Gastonia Burgei just whips out a shotgun and says "you dead b*tch" before shooting Utahraptor with his shotgun because why the Fukuiraptor not.

Winner: Gastonia Burgei

Fight 11:

Riparovenator vs Shamosaurus

Spinosaurus isn't the only Spinosaurid with a shotgun because the Riparovenator just whips out his shotgun before shooting the living Shidaisaurus out of the Shamosaurus.

Winner: Riparovenator

Fight 12:

Dilophosaurus vs Shantungosaurus

Dilophosaurus just is a total idiot to charge at the Shantungosaurus and just gets kicked in the face by the Shantungosaurus killing it instantly.

Winner: Shantungosaurus

Fight 13:

Wuerhosaurus vs Medusaceratops

What the Fukuiraptor is with these dinosaurs whipping out their shotgun and start shooting their opponents with their shotgun because Wuerhosaurus just straight up shot Medusaceratops in the face with his shotgun (maybe because the Spinosaurus shot the Sauroposeidon and some of the other dinosaurs decided to just buy a shotgun of their own or maybe I'm just dumb, either that or I'm just dumb)

Fight 14:

Stegosaurus vs Spinops

Spinops, instead of whipping out a shotgun to shoot Stegosaurus, just whips out a drill and drills the Shidaisaurus out of Stegosaurus.

Winner: Spinops

Fight 15:

Tyrannosaurus vs Euoplocephalus

Euoplocephalus bellows at the Tyrannosaurus only for the Tyrannosaurus to terrify the Euoplocephalus by letting out a louder and more terrifying roar than the Euoplocephalus bellow (what the Fukuiraptor is wrong with you Euoplocephalus and Lambeosaurus, you f*cking cowards)

Fight 16:

Giganotosaurus vs Achelousaurus

Giganotosaurus twists Achelousaurus's neck and rips it off killing the Achelousaurus without any mercy.
