As we already have said :: F | Sayonara Sauropahaganax . Your name was too glorious for this planet.
Quote : ''' Re-examinations of the specimens attributed to Saurophaganax suggested that it is a chimera of multiple dinosaur genera, since some specimens most likely belong to a diplodocid sauropod, while the other referred allosaurid specimens belong to a novel species of Allosaurus, named as: Allosaurus anax ''' ( Worst naming ever in my opinion. Should be a better name like Allosaurus Emperator )

BUT WAİT ! There is more :

We might have Another Saurophaganax specimen. Yes.
Quote :: '' A more recent discovery is a partial skeleton from the Peterson Quarry in Morrison rocks of New Mexico; this large allosaurid was suggested to be a potential specimen of Saurophaganax prior to this taxon's 2024 reassessment. ''

So we shouldn't dump Saurophaganax... Or the unnammed Giant Allosauroid || Officially : Kenton 1 Quarry allosaurid yet...
-) We also additionally have Epanterias also. Another 12m Allosaur/oid.

So... There are giant | colossal unassigned and unnamed Allosaur/oid specimens out there. I want everyone to know about that.

Basically, the guy who wrote/is writing the paper with the abstract saying that Saurophaganax was a sauropod did a talk at the annual Society of Vertebrate Paleontology meeting and said that it was still valid.

A new set of fossil trackways from South Korea shows surprisingly long spacing between between steps made by a small microraptorine (ichnotaxon Dromaeosauriformipes). Relative to body size, the strides were three times as long as that of an ostrich and nearly twice as long as that of a kangaroo rat.
Basically, the microraptorine was using its wings to get some air time when running at high speeds, and also to help with braking and turning.

Sad news.
For those who don't know, Dong Zhiming discovered and described more than 42 genera of dinosaurs, mostly from the Middle Jurassic aged Shaximiao Formation. These include Tuojiangosaurus, Micropachycephalosaurus, Shunosaurus, Wuerhosaurus, and Archaeoceratops.
About the Saurophaganax sauropod thing, stay tuned.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THEROPODS THESE PAST FEW MONTHS.
For instance:
Saurophaganax has gone from being a Allosaurid, possibly even a basal Carcharodontosaur, to a Metriacanthosaur, to being a Sauropod apparently? (uncomfirmed)
Monolophosaurus went from being a Basal Tetaneuran to a Spinosaur, and then to a Allosauroid
Baryonyx commited the bite of 87 on a Iguanodon
Labocania is a... abomination.
Compsognathids are Megalosaurs, possibly even being paraphyletic for some reason
Szechuanosaurus isn't even a Metriacanthosaur.
Dromaeosaurs having Herbivorous ancestors
Just, what the fuck is happening
I’m so happy because just today I figured out how to draw the limbs!!
Is it any good?

The main antagonist of Speckles the Tarbosaurus 2: A New Paradise was a monstrous creature known only as The Beast of Fire Mountain. It was not a dinosaur but was more like a dragon like monster. Though it may look epic to some, I didn't like the direction the second movie took when it came to the main antagonist. Because despite being the main antagonist, The Beast doesn't really show up until the end.
As I've said in the past, my version of Speckles 2 is completely different from the official one. While it still features characters from that movie, the plot is not the same. Instead of a kidnapping story, it's a story about a group who invades Speckles' new home and is trying to dethrone him as the apex of the valley.
And this here is the main antagonist of The Legend of Speckles 2: Outlanders, Skal. He is a completely original character made specifically for this series. Since the Speckles franchise doesn't really seem to mind mixing multiple dinosaurs from multiple time periods with each other, I felt comfortable with introducing a Jurassic animal into a setting like this.
Skal is a Saurophaganax Intrusor, which translates to "Lord of the Lizard Eaters Intruder". He is the leader of a team known as
"Rogue Wanderers", who go from valley to valley asserting their dominance until they run out of food and move to another one. Skal is very ruthless but is also an intellectual individual who is far more strategic and calculative compared to the brutish One Eye who was Speckles' nemesis.
Speckles' first encounter with Skal was when he got a glimpse of him during a stampede that his team caused in an attempt to kill Speckles' children. His first fight with Skal was rough since he expected him to be like One Eye. But he wasn't.
He used his flesh ripping teeth to tear into Speckles, making him retreat which is rare for the Tarbosaurus. Skal planned to subjugate every single predator in the valley to his rule similar to One Eye, but unlike One Eye who simply wanted to boss people around, Skal wanted to recuirt more members for his team.
Not wanting their home to be ruined, Speckles, his family, and his neighbors rallied against the Rogue Wanderers to prevent them from taking over the valley and overhunting it. During the final fight, Speckles' mate, Blue Eyes, was almost killed. But she was saved by her youngest son, Speckles Jr. Junior and his father then battled alongside each other and eventually defeated Skal when Speckles decapitated the theropod.
Skal's design will be improved in the future, but for now, he has a crest on each side of his face, he has small spikes on his back, he features lips, and he has scars on his lips, and he also has small spikes under his jaw.
What do you think of this original antagonist?
