2025 Redraw (or remake if you wanna call it):
It's been quite a while since i done one of these
So basically this time around, a new study by Dr. Kenshu Shamada suggests that megs were less chonky like white sharks and more slim like lemon sharks. This would've allowed it to move through the water better than if it were chonky.
The blue whale was used as a modern analogy for the shape/hydrodynamics comparison.
Basically the researchers compared living and extinct sharks' trunk lengths and, with the inclusion of meg vertebra found in Portugal and Denmark, concluded O. megalodon could reach up to 80 feet.

Also the study suggests pups may have been born at 10 - 13 feet long, not 6.5 feet as previously thought.
What's y'alls ideas on this?
This is quite possibly one of my oldest fossils (if I'm correct, I got it along with a few other sandtiger-esque teeth in Denver back in 2011). Only fairly recently has it caught my eye again and I'd like to know what species it came from.
I'm 98% sure it might be Otodus obliquus, as it seems to match a good number of obliquus's teeth on google and fossil shops. The 2% I'm not sure about is because of slight variations in shape in photos and hard-to-judge sizes.
Fingers for detail contrast

Quarter for scale
As you can see here, it matches a good number of these teeth pretty well
If you guys can't ID or confirm its O. obliquus I can bring it to a museum, there's quite a few around me.

Seems like almost all channels agree on the Extinction of Megalodon 0_0

Here at P.P we have a variety of shows to keep our guest entertained. We will list just a few shows here, starting with aquatic shows.
Though before we start, let's get some facts out:
All shows are by the animal's choice.
There is little in the way of training, see fact 1.
All animals seen consumed are genetically created dead.
AQUATIC SHOWS
Watch our Basilosaurus rip apart the corpse of a humpback whale. Older Basilo's will rip chunks of a corpse into smaller pieces for younger members of the group. You can find our Basilosaurus in-between the Asia and Australia sectors.
See our Australopachycormus rip the corpse of a Tiger Shark to shreds. Australopachycormus are known for their brutal fights over food, certainly a show for a guest with a strong stomach.
WARNING: The next show is not for kids or guests with a weak stomach
Our most famous attraction here is, without a doubt, the Megalodon feeding show! In which our Megalodon, Lucy, will attack a humpback whale hanging on a crane (Sound familiar?) The sight is just as brutal as you could imagine, which is exactly why we put that disclaimer at the beginning (seriously, you might get splashed with blood.) It is to be made clear that Lucy is not the only Meg in the park, as we have a male Meg named Stanley in the Africa sector (Lucy is in the North America sector if you were wondering.) While we do host the same show with Stanley, many guests prefer Lucy over Stanley due to female Megs being larger than males.
We hope you enjoyed this guide! (:
(Don't you dare start with the fuckin clam jokes in the comments)

◊ Not lurking in the depths: Everything we know about Megalodon suggests it was a large shark preferring tropical and subtropical warm waters.
Indeed, one hypothesis for its extinction was that the oceans got colder. This /warm temperature preference/ means that Megalodon is not hiding in the unexplored, deep and cold parts of the oceans that we have not explored. Megalodon would literally be near the surface in plain sight...
