Neoparadoxia
Neoparadoxia cecilialina is an extinct desmostylian mammal that lived California during the Miocene epoch around 10.5 million years ago. Despite being a hippopotamus-like animal this semiaquatic herbivore is the closest living relatives to proboscideans and sirenians.
