On this day, 4 years ago, your's truly first joined Dinopedia, I usually do something for these anniversaries but I've completely forgotten about it until right now so uhhhhhh
Here's my updated top 10 favorite Dinosaurs, there has been quite a few changes
10. Diabloceratops
Diablo officially replaces Pachyrhinosaurus as my favourite Ceratopsian, this thing just has one of the coolest and most unique looking horn orientation, and fire name as well. Diablo was my favourite Ceratopsian at one point, but then I kind of just, lost intrest in it, now after finding really great art of it, I love it again
9.Nanuqsaurus
Nanuq drops one spot down the list, what can say besides it's the coolest Tyrannosauroid (pun not intended), iirc, it's appearing in Surviving Earth, so I'm excited for that
8. Australovenator
Megaraptorans are a goated group of animals, your favourite could literally be any species and I'd fully understand why, the only reason I've put Australovenator as my favourite is because I like the JWE 2 design
7. Acrocanthosaurus
Acro replaces Mapusaurus as my favourite Allosauroid, I like big animals and I like unique animals, this thing is both, Mapu will always hold a special place in my heart though
6. Spinosaurus
Spinosaurus remains in the same spot it was before, take what I said about Acro and copy paste it here, and also I fell in love with the Planet Dinosaur depiction as a kid so that's also a big player
5. Microraptor
Microraptor also remains in the same spot it was before, it's adorable, unique, and it has a interesting history, I still can't believe we know the colours of some Dinosaurs
4. Dreadnoughtus
Dreadnoughtus replaces Isisaurus as my favourite Sauropod, it's big and has a cool name, it also for some reason had an increase in media appearances in recent times, Dominion, PHP, and Dino Dex all had excellent designs
The top 3 has 0 changes
3. Natovenator
Natovenator is the best Dromaeosaurid, it's unique and has a catchy name, I can't help but like it, also I had it as my pfp for a long time
2. Rajasaurus
It's an Indian Dinosaur so obviously I'm gonna be biased, and one of the only cool Indian Dinosaurs as well, I've only liked it more after the PHP depiction
1. Parasaurolophus
This is no surprise, Parasaurolophus was my first favourite Dinosaur and always has been and will always continue to be

This is the last written episode, all the following episodes will be in a comic format! Before we begin, this is my oldest series on the wiki. I want to say thank you to everyone for supporting me on this thus far. I'm sure a lot of people don't remember this series too well as it was almost 2 years ago when I last made a genuine episode. Thank you all, and enjoy!
As per usual, I'll stick to the original style of keeping these fairly short.

The dust billowed, leaving a thick fog in the canyon. Leftover rubble still tumbled from atop the narrow walls. Pinaco could hardly see, everything in their body ached horribly, a vast feeling of guilt clouded them far more, however. He should've done something. Anything. Why bother to talk to the Oviraptor, when far worse concerns were at hand? The land was still plagued with death, the threat still near, his friends fighting. No matter how stoic he had been, it wasn't enough. Creatures should never coexist like this. Were they all even friends? Was this all out of desperation? Pinaco himself had no clue.
Nameless creatures wandering through a desert, following tiny clues and mysterious words for what they could only hope to not be some facade. The footprints had already been a lie. Why did he even rely on all these animals? Pinaco didn't need them. He could do this all by himself. Maybe with the original four. Velo, Proto, and Ovi. If they hadn't been so pitiful, and dragged around whatever survivor they all could find, this mess wouldn't have gotten worse.
He quickly shook his head, ridding of debris resting on it. These thoughts were no help, there were far more vital things to pay attention to. They had all made a promise. Pinaco wasn't going to be the one to break it.

The air was humid, avian creatures chirping on the treetops. A valley carved with rivers like chisels on pottery, the clouds providing shade in the large clearing. Hump-backed waders fed on the water's flora. The only abnormal sight within what appeared to be a paradise was the darkening grass.
The dirt bubbled slightly, tearing at the grass around it. Ash-like particles filled the air almost instantly. The defenses around the canyon millions of years ago did nothing to stop it, a plaque scorched the ground.
Late.
Far too late to stop it now.
I'll know.
My claws are forged of the stars and sky, curving around the earth. Wings serve as a blindfold from my own illumination, a curse of my kind. Never to walk among Earth as one form, only to watch and alter what I can. Left to history unknown. Yet no alteration, no power, no warping of the universe, no covering of bones, nothing can stop what I see. An observer trapped in the hell they created. Dust I watched this world be forged from, and now I will watch it crumble. Slowly and horribly.
I have tried so dearly, I have broken timelines, dragged creatures from elsewhere, all have failed to stop it. I have lost my temper, and now I will pay the price. My creations, all to be gone by the next dawn. Time will not heal this wound. Webbed hands to shelter from the sun, a tail to keep the world steady, none of it is enough. It is beyond my control.
tally hall reference no wae!!1!
As a quick note, this is going to (HOPEFULLY) be a 10 part series. This is more of a prologue, and a bit cryptic, thus does not count to the actual episode count. Very short for that same reason.
Won’t include any drawn art due to the fact that I have wayyy too many art projects already. All pictures were taken by me.
information stated here will likely be built up to and/or explained in the actual episodes, this is just kinda a glorified sneak peek

Frost flakes danced in the air as the man shook his coat. It’d been a light snowfall, only tiny bits visible on old lawns or shingles. Xavier wasn’t too fond of the cold. He’d moved to South Carolina specifically to avoid it, but even in the marshes, frost still gathered. It hadn’t properly snowed in years. It was simply a matter of time until a cold draft were ought to show up. The neighborhood lane was barren besides a striped cat digging along the fence posts.
“You alright out there? Bit chilly I’d think,” a woman called from the doorway. Xavier remained silent. His neighbor stared as he quietly picked up his pace down the block. This was atypical, but he was a quiet man already. Shrugging it off, she entered her household once more.

The shoremaster raised an eyebrow at the ticket, “Borrowin’ a boat this late? We’re about to close up shop, young man. It’ll be a bit rough out there. You sure?”
I frowned, “I know how to drive a boat, sir.”
“Yeah, yeah, you just be careful out there. Reeling in any Crested Web-foot will be a fairly big dent on your wallet.” Though I did not intend to be impolite, the man must’ve spotted my confusion, “Not from these parts, my fault. A Natovenator.”
“Got it, I’ll be wary. Shouldn’t be too many out at night,” I said rather quietly, before shaking his hand, “I’ll be quick, just want to check something out.”
Something told me he doubted such an excuse, but I persisted along the lines of it. More time ashore was more time for it to follow. Out in the ocean, it felt almost unreal. The water smooth, the air fresh and bitter, the waves cradling the speedboat. Cold enough to make me numb. Any day, I could appreciate such beauty. Today, however, my stomach ached. Far away I’d go. Far away to hurt nobody. A pity about the boat, but no matter.
The boat rocked, almost as if it were a warning of what was to come. My fingertips and lips were purple. I’d lost feeling already. Further I drove, further from the shore, further from the proximity, further toward where I’d rest. As the lights and green faded into the horizon, I finally stopped. The moon was beautiful tonight. Its beams made the water into an art in itself. Something rippled where I could never see it. And hopefully nobody else, either.
A section of me.

COMPILED DATA FROM ‘KIDS SURVIVAL TIPS’
Avoid trails that seem to trample over vegetation, contain serrations into the [ground] (such as footprints), or seem to not align with maps given. These are usually caused by small theropods or ceratopsians and are harmless if encountered, but remain wary. Prey can [attract] predators!
Do not feed any wildlife, herbivorous or carnivorous. These creatures love to tell their friends about new food sources, and large populations may gather in one area. This is hazardous [both] for people and animals!
Watch your surroundings. [Patches] of jagged tree trunks, long ‘lines’ of duckweed missing from water, crushed fruits, and odd [smells] can all be signals of a large creature in the area.
If a region has been marked off with ‘COLLUM-LEGGED SPECIES MIGRATING’ or ‘RED THROATS PREDATING’, please stick close to the original park trail. New inhabitants have temporarily made themselves home. If you spot one on the trails, report such to a ranger.

I will drink myself to death inside.
She shook her head, further filling the glass with tea, “Odd folk that man is, very odd.” Every glare of light burned his eyes.
This Semi-Aquatic Dromaeosaurid was suggested by @Nizaluddin . I referenced images of various waterfowl, but it's not based on any species specifically.
