Name: Mosasaurus
Genus: Mosasaurus
Height: 13 m (56 feet)
Weight: 10.000 kg
Reigon of origin: North America, Western Europe, North Africa and Middle East
Period: Late Cretaceous Period (around 70-66 million years ago)
Mosasaurus it's a lizard that lives in North America, Western Europe, North Africa and Middle East. Mosasaurus appearance it's snake-like body with large skull and long snout and have two sets of teeth in the upper jaw. Mosasaurus eat fish, marine reptiles, birds and cephalopod.
Mosasaurus belongs to the reptile class and Mosasaurus not living in groups. Mosasaurus Latin name it's Mosasaurus missouriensis. Mosasaurus it's meaning lizard Meuse.
I'm working on a little project for a somewhat JP style roleplay with friends and I want to try to be mostly accurate in design but with some major speculation as well so I wanted to know if skin like this could work or would it be to similar to what happened with the Jurassic world mosasaurus

Basil the Mosasaurus Regidens (Meuse Lizard Royal Tooth) is the main antagonist of my cryptid story, Crown of Teeth. He is the most powerful of the cryptids in this universe and is one of the eldest as well. In this universe, he represents the Bear Lake Monster.
Now, the original drawing had quite an abundance of armor plating. But personally, looking back on it, I felt. like the armor plating was far too exaggerated and looked manmade instead of natural, so I decided to reduce it for his wide shot.
In the wide shot, there are many new additions. His snout is longer and his head is bigger, he still had the spikes on his flippers, but they're kept apart instead of being lumps right together, his armor plating has been given a more natural look, his dorsal fin is much more detailed, and he has the typical tail fin that Mosasaurus is depicted with nowadays. But in terms of stats, he hasn't changed. He's still 53 feet long and 14 feet high and is 7 tons. He also has a bite force of about 12,000 PSI at full force, but he needs a good grip to break bone.

Hello, welcome back to the next installment of me looking at the creatures Dino Dan. More episodes of Dino Dex have (unofficially) released, so it’s time for me to look the new information and creatures. Let’s start off with the newbies + sole redesign of this batch.
So Meg got a redesign, and it may have gotten better. I ended up liking slim Meg quite a bit, and the whale shark colors were an excellent choice, might be better than the previous one’s colors, tho both are great in their own ways.
Albertonectes looks pretty good, I like the white base with purple stripes, kinda reminds me of the Snapper from the Meg. And this is obviously a much better design than the Plesiosaurus (ignoring color, that can be debated). I would explain what else I like about the design, but it’s more so just compliments about plesiosaurids in general. Main criticisms are the head shape, and the neck length due to this being Albertonectes, not Elasmo, but they’re not really big deals.
While it would’ve been nice to see regular/short horn Elasmotherium, I’m used enough to the unicorn verison to let it slide (under the context of entertainment rather than education). I do have slight distaste for the double horn, but not as much as a should, and as implausible as the colored horn and gray splotches are, they look kinda cool. Another fairly good addition and nice to see Elasmotherium get more love.
My thoughts on the Dire Wolf are complicated. For years I used to think “oh it’s just a big wolf, who cares”. But then came the reclassification as a jackal relative, which combined with this amazing design of the outdated version, has left me questioning everything I thought about how I felt about the Dire Wolf. I mean look and that majestic, beautiful black pupper! I love it! Why do I think this is cool now!? Do I prefer the outdated version? But how, it’s just a wolf! A beautifully designed wolf, but still! Great design, bad accuracy wise, I like it anywaysies, but that existential crisis will haunt me for a while
For the context of these next four, the episode “Dino World” did the thing with single-appearance creatures in an animated style.
Argentino’s design isn’t that good, I’d argue even Pirmal had a better shape, but the the dark green and brown color scheme are pretty good. There is also an alt with brighter green in its coloration and I like than one a fair bit too.
Deinocheirus looks great in terms of design, and my only issue with it is that the arms and that colors are rather bland. Also, this is the 2nd time an ornithomimosaurid has been relegated to a single appearance as a cartoon, they deserve better.
The Hatzeg is kinda bad, I don’t really like the face shape and the colors aren’t doing much to sway me. The weird crest is definitely what I take the most issue with.
This is basically the JW Mosa but more universally unappealing. I especially hate the dumb eyebrow ridges. Even the colors are a downgrade from the JW one.
Let’s be honest, they just wanted a Kraken to attack the sub and get eaten by Beeg Shark and the Swimmer longnecks, those are only reasons why this goober is here. I should be mad, but honestly, that’s just whatever, I like giant monster cephalopods too. Also, this the 2nd time now Colossal Squid has been given the appearance of Giant Squid and shoved in with a bunch of prehistoric stuff of some reason (Jurassic Park Builder)

Honestly, I think it's really interesting, and the whole Megalodon v Leviathan concept is great. My favorite creature in the series so far is Megalania, but I really hope we get Anomalocaris and Tanystropheus.
Unlike the benevolent Nessie, this creature is the main antagonist of it's story. Crown of Teeth is a series set in Bear Lake where a war between two reptiles has been going on for decades. And in the middle, two brothers are caught in the crossfire while at the same time, they are trying to mend their bond.
Basil is a Mosasaurus Regidens, which translates to "Meuse Lizard Royal Tooth". He has the basic build expected from Mosasaurs, a narrow head, and two small fins in the side with sharp edges on the back, he also has armor on the top part of his body, stripes on his underbelly, and unusually for a Mosasaurus, he has a prominent dorsal fin like a shark. He is 53 feet long and 14 feet high.
The series gets it's name from the teeth that are on the roof of a Mosasaurs' mouth which in some way, looks like a crown. His main color is a dark, chocolate brown, his stripes are a lighter shade of brown, his armor is a greyish color, and his eyes are orange.
As mentioned before, unlike Nessie who is very friendly towards humans, Basil is a whole different story. He actively attacks anything in his territory and doesn't care what it is, as long as he gets fed, that's all he cares about. He is very quick, possibly the second fastest aquatic animal in the Paleoverse, only beaten out by his rival, Alkai the Temnodontosaurus.
Him and Alkai have been at war with each other for several decades. It's not clear why he hasn't killed the Ichthyosaur yet, but it may have something to do with Alkai's speed which allows her to dart away if the fight isn't going in her favor.
His kind actually started out as a different species that was never discovered by humans, but for the sake of simplicity, I'm going to call them "Dwarf Mosasaurs". These Mosasaurus were smaller than their more popular counterparts, M.Hoffmanni, but as the years went by, and the prey became bigger, so did these Dwarf Mosasaurs.
With a bite force comparable to a Tyrannosaurus, Basil is a very difficult beast to fight, especially since he seems to view tearing boats apart as a sport because he constantly competes with Alkai to sink as many boats as possible in the area.
While some of the people around Bear Lake have been aware of the conflict between these two, they refuse to tell the public about it because it's possible that both might be killed as a result. Which is why they have resorted to simply accept the fact that this war between them won't end unless one of them dies.
As for additional information, Mosasaurus Regidens changes it's color is a turquoise-green color if they enter saltwater. The females have shorter dorsal fins than the males and are generally less aggressive. Basil is actually an example of gigantism in the species because their size usually maxes out at 45 feet, but he's pushing way past that. And also, his name was supposed to be Beowulf, but I changed it later on.

Before we begin: This is based on the game Frantic Fanfic and made by me, @SiatsPyro07 and one of our irl friends. Here's what we got
Story 1: Elasmosaurus and Spinosaurus
It was a warm and not sunny day in Africa(i think) and an Elasmosaurus showed up out of nowhere with a cool cup when he saw a Spinosaurus.
“Yo bro what ya doin here?” Said the Spino
“Taxes” said the Elasmo.
That happened to scare Spinosaurus as he decided to stop paying his taxes quite a while ago, which meant this Elasmosaurus was with the IRS> “You’ll never take me normally!” Said Spinosaurus as he shape-shifted into a F-22 raptor and charged at the Elasmosaurus, who was rightfully scared and ran away, crying like a little girl. But then he stopped, turned around, and said mighty words.
“Nah, I’d win,”
The air shifted as it contained power, strength, and fear all combined, causing the Spinosaurus to turn back into a Spinosaurus and gasped. This plesiosaur had decided to go full scary mode, but which subcategory, he knew not.
“Let me tell you a joke, eh?” He started. “Hawk one said balls, and Hawk two said uh”. The Spinosaurus, offended by this audacity, charged at the Elasmosaurus. However, he was not prepared for the plesiosaurs advanced weaponry, as he was quickly deflected by a cool lookin stick that seemed to be pulled from thin air. The Spinosaurus crashed to the ground, looking up at the Elasmosaurus.
“You are no match for my power” He said, standing above the Spino
“Oh really?” Said the Spinosaurus, who promptly kicked the Elasmo in the jaw, causing him to fly back. The Spinosaurus then began to glow bright yellow and levitate into the air, his long body amalgamating into a spherical shape. The Elasmosaurus, though dazed, managed to steady himself and was flabbergasted by what he was witnessing. Several more seconds passed and then the Spinosaurus landed back on the ground, but now in an upright stance and with a traditional theropod head.
The Elasmosaurus prepared to launch another attack, but was stopped mid-lead by the Spinosaurus’s left hand. The theropod flicked his right fingers at the plesiosaur, which relocated his head to his tail and vice versa.
“What, how’d you do this?” the plesiosaur asked, confused.
Story 2: Ruby Rose and Marcielle(ok not extinct animal related but they're mentioned)
The cool breeze wafted through the trees in the thick forest. Leaves of all colors dangled peacefully from the strong branches as Ruby Rose wandered along the worn down path. The first signs of fall were showing as the orange leaves crunched beneath her feet. In her right hand she held her scythe, while in her left she held a pumpkin iced latte she got from starbucks earlier that day. However, despite the peaceful setting, she had a far more dangerous task.
She had been tasked by the Totally Right And Surely Happy society of Elasmotherium that she had to go and destroy all elves because their ears were too pointy and if they had to get rid of their horns, then elves had to do it with their ears too! Ruby eventually found Marcielle, an elf girl, inside of a dungeon eating some dungeon monsters because there’s no other food.
“Hey!” She shouted. “Are you an elf?”
“Yes,” Marcielle called back. “Why do you ask?”
“Your ears are too pointy so I need to cut them off. It’s my task”
“Why though?”
“Because if the Elasmotherium can’t get pointy horns, than you can’t have pointy ears”
“Lame,” Said Marcielle, who gave some dungeon food to Ruby. “Try this. It’s pretty good!”. Ruby took a bite and her eyes instantly sparkled with delight.
“Oh for real it is. Not going to kill you now.”
Marcielle grabbed Ruby and then said. “You’re my friend now. We’re having soft tacos later!”
Story 3: Mosasaurus and Suchomimus
The warm sun felt nice against the snout and back of Mosasaurus as it was basking near the water’s surface. Not much had happened for the last few days, although that soon changed as he saw a lump swimming towards him.
This lump happened to be a Suchomimus, who had found himself in the ocean after a freak storm. The Suchomimus bumped into the Mosasaurus but continued to swim as if nothing had happened.
The marine reptile, not particularly pleased with this, swam up to the spinosaur and asked, “What was that for, and how’d you get here?”
Startled, the Suchomimus looked to the left and saw the aquatic lizard nearby. He shrugged, being nonverbal due to accidentally swallowing a clarinet all those years back. The Mosasaurus went and got angry, for he does not like it when others do not speak to him, and brought out a comically small minigun, only being two atoms long. The Suchomimus did a rock eyebrow raise, wondering what all that was for before starting to swim away. The Mosasaurus rook even greater offense to this and charged after him, opening his mouth wide to eat the Suchomimus, but when he closed it, it was completely gone. He turned around and saw the Suchomimus behind him and stared in shock, as the Suchomimus had cool white anime hair and a dope longsword that looked like it came straight from an anime. The Suchomimus went and used musical tunes that made letters appear out of thin air, spelling the words: “I am anime man. You cannot defeat my weebness, fool”
“Sucho, this isn’t you” the Mosasaurus said with a tear in his eye
“HOW WOULD YOU KNOW? You abandoned me” Suchomimus replied, dropping his sword at his side.
“I didn’t mean to, you know i needed that cash money”
“You were my friend, Mosa, and you left me for KFC?”
“You must understand, it was finger licking good” Mosasaurus said, shoving some fried chicken into the Suchomimus’s mouth.
“Hol’ up this is finger licking good, my bad” The Suchomimus said while licking his fingers, and they walked off into the sunset.

Right now, I'm trying to plan out a story for my cryptid series called Crown of Teeth. It features a Mosasaurus as the main antagonist and in that story, it is what is known in real life as the Bear Lake Monster. However, I did mention in my announcement post that there is another aquatic reptile that the Mosasaurus will be fighting.
At first, I wanted it to fight a Tylosaurus. But I had trouble thinking of a design that would distinguish it from Mosasaurus so instead, I'm choosing to replace it and right now, I'm considering on replacing it with some kind of Itchyosaur.
So, can anybody tell me about an Itchyosaur that is fairly large but is not too large to where it would outclass a Mosasaurus? I don't know much about Itchyosaurs when it comes to size since most of the ones I've seen are smaller than Mosasaurus.
And if there aren't any Itchyosaurs that are in the 30-50 feet size range, can you suggest a different animal that may be in that size range? The only requirements I need are speed and size.

I'm not putting in any measurements because I don't want to get them wrong. Just keep in mind that modern estimates put them at around the same size. Which one do you think would win in a fight?
