Megatherium

It's about a seed world (like Serina or Kaimere), that has only one supercontinent and a bunch of islands. These are some of the creatures that are on the proyect (NOT FINAL DESIGNS), and I have some questions involving them...

1. How probable is for an azhdarcid to evolve into something like Stiletocheirus? And if not really possible, how can I make a speculative azhdarchid that supports itself on it's enlarged finger while also using it like a weapon?

2. Involving Lapsitherium, how a speculative mudskipper with a mix between the ecologicals niches of a seal and a giant sloth would work?

3. Involving Nyctibius tuetue, since I'll may rework it; How a terrestial, human-looking potoo with the ecological niche of a secretary bird work

I would also encourage suggestions and concepts for my seed world, since my ideas really pop up slowly...

I am here because why not. Take some megatherium art

So as some of the older users know who I am because of my activity here in the past like writing a prehistoric park story involving users here as the staff of the park and other things. But to those who who I don't I am Concaventor Wrangler. You can call me Conca for short. I had to take a long break from here but I am planning on returning to an extent not as much as before. But I am returning. I plan to do a fun project involving one of my favorite jp franchise games and accuracy in the game and maybe doing a episodic story again. Anyway I am back and to make this have something to do with prehistoric animals judge this Megatherium.

Yep! That's right! Episode 2 is coming up! Now, just quick announcement: The designs for these 2, and 16 other creatures, will not be posted, simply because I don't have them. Unlike RJ Palmer, who's posted them on his Deviantart, Alex Ries hasn't posted these artworks(from what I can tell)

The Second Matchup: Velociraptor VS Giant Sloth(Megatherium)

• Natural weapons:

-Seven-inch-long claws.

-Moves quadrupedally by knuckle-walking, can stand bipedally to inflict damage with its tremendously muscular arms.

"So this is the place where we are going to expand?" Nizluddin said.

"Yeah, here we found enough land and with enough space for expanding the boundaries. This place has glaciers for ice age animals and forested mountains for things like Yutyrannus, which at some point we plan to bring back. We already have holding pens with some of the animals from the original park that would benefit from a cooler climate." Almond said.

As they were talking, an alarm went off. The alarm meant that an animal was trying to attack a staff member. So Almond and Niz went to check it out. The medical staff was in the large holding pen holding one of the park's most notorious species from the original park back in Kenya the Megatherium. The medical staff accidentally got between the adoptive mother and the juvenile that was now the size of a small big cat it was still too young to be separated from the parent, but too big for the adult to carry on its back anymore.

The mother reared up onto her back legs and let out a shrill bellow like noise at the medical staff who realized what was going on when one of the staff turned around and saw the juvenile. They got away from the juvenile sloth, who mimicked his mother he stood up to about the same height as some of the larger medical staff members. When the medical team was moving around, one of the new security staff deadeconomy accidentally fired a tranquilizer dart into the juvenile sloth, angering the mother. She is tall enough to reach the catwalk while reared up, and she tore it down out from under deadeconomy. The other security staff had pointed their tranquilizer guns at the mother. They fired 3 tranquilizer darts at the mother to get her to go to sleep as the tranquilizer dart used took a minute to kick in she went back on all fours and rushed as fast as she could being a giant ground sloth at deadeconomy. Deadeconomy tried putting their tranquilizer gun in between themselves and the animal like in training. The only problem was that the sloth was way bigger than the animals it was meant to withstand and broke in one swipe. But before it could harm deadeconomy the baby sloth fell asleep and had gotten enough of the mother's attention to distract it and the mother fell asleep as deadeconomy and the medical staff got out of the holding pen.

"I thought this thing was supposed to not break. Same thing with the catwalk, " Deadeconomy said as he threw his broken tranquilizer gun onto the ground.

"The catwalk is not meant to be used if you are trying to deal with something like this as the larger animals can still reach you here. Up in Kenya it is a different matter. Here we have different procedures than the other facility after that one expedition to what is now the congo jungle things have been too Chaotic with the spinofaarus and that thing carcharodontosaurus ended up evolving into to adapt to that ecosystem tourism is boomin-."

As Almond was finishing talking a worker came over and interrupted the conversation. It was Rexyisdebest the caretaker of the original park.

" Sorry to disturb something but I should warn you guys about the Doedicurus we have found out that is important for you guys here since it got moved here. The Doedicurus carries a possibly lethal bacteria in its bite it uses to help in digestive processes. The bacteria can be transmitted to people from a bite. Sadly one of the staff that was catching it to transfer it to here was bitten and got ill from the bacteria luckily after trial and error they got better. But don't get bitten or you might get sick. Symptoms include fever, rash, swelling, cardiac issues and possible organ failure. I recommend if you try moving the thing just avoid the tail. If you try restraining the tail it will try biting and it is easier and cheaper to deal with broken bones than this bacteria. Sorry I can't stay right now it is attempt number two to get deinotherium. Last time early hominids pelted them with rocks breaking the capture team's bones." Rexyisdebest said as he started walking away.

"One more thing we are sending you guys the argentavis. With the large therapods we have too many issues to maintain keeping our eyes on the doors that it learned to open so we have to keep it highly observed in terms of locks as it tries to learn them to break out." Rexyisdebest said as he left.

A FEW WEEKS LATER

The staff prepared for their first creatures to bring back for the Temperate Park. They were going after one of the most iconic prehistoric animals ever the Woolly Mammoth. But as they opened up the time portal something that they were not expecting walked through.

"What is it a Woolly Giraffe or a Woolly Hippo?" Some random employee said.

"Who ever said Woolly Giraffe and Woolly Hippo report to the park administrator and the park paleontologist report to there as they need help badly." Was said over the pa system.

But as the creature walked through it let out a growl.
