Nessie's Loch is a story about a trio investigating Loch Ness after a mysterious attack which leads to the discovery of a tooth from an unknown animal.
This was my first drawing of Nessie, but it only ever showed her from the neck up in a pose very similar to the Surgeon's Photograph that she's so known for. I was dreading making a full body version because of the long neck and because at the time, I wasn't good at making aquatic reptiles. But now that I've gotten more practice, it's time to use those skills to good use.
Nessie's head was modified a little, she still has the sail, stripes, and dots on her body, the sail extends just before the tail fin. The tail fin has may dots covering it, and the front flippers have sharp edges, Plesiosaurus Elapucustos (Near-to-lizard Evading Guardian) uses these to attack opponents and slash them. They also have dots and stripes on their fins.
Kronag the Kronosaurus Invalecythus (Kronos Lizard Invading Cruiser) is the main antagonist of the story and he's the one that the mysterious tooth belongs to. He's gone through two iterations that I will show here.
First, we have a simple shot of his head, then, a drawing featuring half of his body. Whilst I am pretty proud of both, I felt like something was lacking about Kronag. Considering how stylized Nessie was, shouldn't I give her nemesis the same treatment?
Kronag has been given a complete makeover. He still has his blind eye with the scar, the scar on his neck, and the bite mark on his left front flipper caused by Nessie's father, Archibalt, but the rest of his design has been remade. His head, which previously looked like a normal Kronosaurus head, has been modified. You see, when I wrote a scene where Kronag attacks a fishing crew, I mentioned that he had a crocodilian like snout, it's why I decided to change what his snout looked like, to give him more character. But his exposed teeth are still visable. He has two types of spikes, one is bigger than the other and they run down his back and on his brow. He has a tail fin and many types of stripes. He has wavy stripes on his back, and sharp stripes on his tail fin and flippers. And like before, he's bulkier than a real Kronosaurus.
What do you think?

So, remember the main villain of Nessie's Loch? He's a Kronosaurus named Kronag. I posted a drawing of him earlier this year which is this.
Ever since then, I wanted to make a bigger drawing. Now, unfortunately, because of the size of the paper I used, I wasn't able to get his whole body in here. But really, all I'm missing is his tail.
As you can see, I adjusted some of the features like his neck since if I followed the original drawing, he would've been too bully to the point where he'd be extremely slow. Because despite Kronag's maximum size of 50 feet, he's actually pretty fast. But I still kept the spikes, and he is still bulkier than a real Kronosaurus. And the scar on his eye isn't his only injury. As you can see, he has a gash underneath his neck, and on his left front fin, he has a bite mark, caused by Nessie's father, Archibalt. He also has stripes on his fins and just for the sake of comparison, I drew a little great white beside him.
What do you think?

I'm not putting in any measurements because I don't want to get them wrong. Just keep in mind that modern estimates put them at around the same size. Which one do you think would win in a fight?
Who's the one who sunk the fishing vessel? Who's the reason why Nessie never comes out at night? Who's the reason why Nessie is the only Plesiosaurus in Loch Ness? Well, that's this guy.
Kronag is a Kronosaurus Invalecythus which translates to "Kronos Lizard Invading Cruiser". And as his species name implies, he's an invasive animal. He originated from Loch Morar but when he discovered caves that had pathways that led into other lochs, he decided to go through them to find more prey.
He is far bulkier than a Cretaceous Kronosaurus. He has overlapping teeth, spikes on his neck and back, and his most prominent feature is his left eye which has a giant scar on it. Whilst this eye cannot be used anymore, he mainly relies on his sense of smell to hunt.
When he came to Loch Ness, he was challenged by Nessie's parents, Archibalt and Hart, along with Nessie's sister, Lizzie. Nessie's Father was the one who caused the scar. The Pliosaur scared all three of them and chased them away from Loch Ness. Ever since then, he's been the Loch's deadliest predator. But he doesn't like attracting attention from humans, which is why he only hunts during the night.
So, what are your thoughts on the main antagonist of Nessie's Loch?

2 years after the infamous paper that declared Kronosaurus as dubious came out, its rebuttal has finally arrived. The study has criticized the reassignment of Kronosaurus and has suggested to make QM F18827 (The most complete skull of Kronosaurus) as the neotype.
TL:DR, Kronosaurus has gained its name back!
As most of you already know, Life On Our Planet released its official trailer a couple days ago, and among the new creatures featured was an unidentified pliosaur.
The Pliosaur was featured for a split second hunting what appears to be some kind of sea turtle. Sometime after, an official poster was released that depicted a closer view of what it looked like.
From the looks of it, the Pliosaur appears to be one of three genera: Liopleurodon, Pliosaurus, or Kronosaurus. Due to the Pliosaur hunting sea turtles in the trailer, and the fact that sea turtles evolved around 110 mya in the Cretaceous, we can safely assume that the Pliosaur lived in the Cretaceous, and is therefore Kronosaurus/Eiectus. What are your thoughts.
Apparently the dragon is a “Fulgurotherium”
Idk what category this goes in
And uhhh Question:
Can I still draw a creature even if it’s now dubious and invalid? Just wondering
