It was the First of October, 2021, as the sun rose over California. The morning was dressed in a thin layer of snow, no more than three inches thick on the ground. Trees whistled as the last of the autumnal leaves fell to the floor with a satisfying crunch.

A farmer, living away from the main cities, awoke. In a tired daze, he stumbled lazily down the stairs. Unawares at to what awoke him from his slumber, he fetched his hunting rifle, and stepped out the door. Clutching a torch in hand, as it was not yet bright enough to rely upon the sun, he checked over his animals one by one.

He had several animals on his farm, but it was mostly his Cattle. He checked the herd first, and noticed that the shed where they slept was devoid of all creatures. Instead, there was a massive section of wall that had been smashed through.

The farmer cursed to himself, as his eyes scanned the field for any cattle. Eventually, he caught the gaze of a lone female, standing in almost a trance, staring coldly at the woods beyond her pen. The fence in front of her was torn down, but she didn’t dare cross.

The farmer ventured beyond the destroyed fence, clutching his rifle in hand. However, no more than twenty-something metres into the dense woodland did he hear a soft growl. He cocked the rifle and walked slower, taking longer paces. Eventually, he caught sight of movement within the bushes, and crouched down, ready to aim… but all of a sudden, the jaws of a massive Carnotaurus clamped over him from behind, shaking the poor man around viciously, before the Carnotaur retreated back into the woodland.

The world had entered a new era. One with a future uncertain. Welcome, to the Jurassic World!

Here I am sitting on a plane. We’ve been flying from Malta to the Dolomite’s for about an hour. And just waiting to land. We’re heading to Biosyn valley to extract files relating to “MediAustro”.

During the flight, Jack gets a call.

“Just a sec, I gotta take this, can y’all be quiet?” he says.

A minute later he hangs up.

”what was that about?” Holly asks.

”Oh, just one of Duckhunt’s assistants calling me. I dunno there names since they all go by code names, 65’s the code name of this assistant. He was just calling to tell me that our group of Scelidosaurus in Jersey is being transferred to Germany, and our male Australovenator, nicknamed Frank, is being transported to our base in Wacona Alaska, along with his children,” he replies.

After Jack finishes, Arnold the British paleontologist gets up to use the bathroom, although I swear I see him pull out his phone.

As I’m grabbing some food, Nancy approaches me, like she’s going to talk to me. I barely know her, but she looks awfully familiar. But before she can say anything, I hear Hellen shout; “hey Johnson, come over here.”

I walk over to her table (for some odd reason the plane’s two front rows have been modified to hold tables, like a seating booth)

“I don’t think I ever got to know you” she says.

”well you were kind of distracted at the meeting,” I say

”yeah,” she says, partially laughing, “but anyway, why’d you join the market?”

” I lost my job at the DPW’s research division after freeing a Gar that was going to be put down since it was believed that it was responsible for the attacks in Michigan.”

”was it?” She asks.

“No, it was just a juvenile, heck I dunno why they even thought it was responsible for the attacks, it almost feels like it was just a cover story for something else,” I tell her. “Why’d you join?”

“I spent years researching Dinosaurs, and was planning to go to the university of Fairbanks after I graduated from high school, but after graduating, I lost my place because some rich kid payed the UAF to give them my spot,” she replies, “the DFW wouldn’t hire me since I’m only 19, and since I figured there were no other jobs out there for me, I joined the market.”

“Man, that must suck.” I say.

”It does,” she replies

All of a sudden Jack stands up and says: Alright, we’re here.”

Upon landing, Jack tells us he’ll wait here to watch the plane. We show the United Nations workers (since the incident in 2022 and the death of Lewis Dodgson’s death, Biosyn valley has been operated by the UN) our forged Biosyn badges and they let us into the helicopter.

It’s a pretty odd helicopter, with two turbines on the side, pretty sure it’s custom made.

Once we fly in, it isn’t long before we see our first dinosaur. A massive Dreadnoughtus resting in a shallow lake.

Upon flying further we spot a pack of Pyroraptors playing in the woods.

We even spotted some Dinosaurs I didn’t even know were cloned. Like the Ankylosaur Anodontosaurus and the Oviraptosaur; Apatoraptor. Both are dinosaurs from the horseshoe canyon formation.

By the time we’re halfway between the airfield and the Biosyn Headquarters, Susan says; “Alright, we’re landing down by that outpost, get ready to get in the cars,”

I look out and see what appears to be a warehouse with to Biosyn Jeep Gladiators parked.

We must be driving through the woods to approach quietly without staff spotting us, but that still means we must deal with the dangers that lurk these woods.

Spider Rex vs JWD giga

This was originally going to be posted on Wednesday but there was an error and then I made this post but it for some reason glitched and deleted. At this point I atomic breathed the wall in frustration. Anyways I hope you like the art, this time I learnt from my mistakes and added colour to it. I also took loads of time to do spider-Rex’s patterns. So what do you think of it.

WARNING: THIS POST HAS GORE AND DRUG USE IN IT

We thought we were safe when we came out of the ventalation system .

Boy were we wrong.

As soon as we got out a guard pointed a gun at us.

"How the hell did you manage to get past the Arkansaurus, those things are trained to kill, but it's the end of the line now," he says

*BANG BANG* Before hhecould shoot us we heard gun shots and the guard dropped dead. All the predatory animals in the market perked their heads up, smelling fresh blood.

On the upper level of the market was Susan holding a gun, she was the guards killer.

"God dammit, why are you guys standing there, we need to get out of here," she shouted

the three of us sprinted, and several Amber Clave workers followed us. One attempted to stab me with a knife, but I jumped out of the way and he crashed into a cage containing a dozen Lagerpetons (small pterosauromorphs from the Triassic). When he knocked the cage over they all got out. One stared at him for a moment before leaping at him and biting him. Pretty soon all the lagerpetons were biting and nipping him. As I ran I could here him screaming before he went silent.

All of a sudden I heard gunshots and a cage door came open releasing a Carmelpodus. It looked at me and began charging, I ducked behind a table and looked up to see it searching around for me. Up on the upper area I saw Jack. I waved at him and he shouted "Albert, get out of there" before pointing a lazer at the carmelpodus. I heard screaching coming from behind be and saw the atrociraptor squad coming at the Carmelpodus. I sprinted to Jack where we hopped in a druck neing droven by Arnold.

"You huys are alive, get the Atrociraptors in the back, I've radioed the others, they're coming," he said.

"How did you get out?" I asked

"Um... I found a key" he said

Pretty soon the atrociraptors were running towards the truck. The 5 of the others hopped in the truck while Susan hopped in the bed holding her gun.

We heard a roar from the Carmelpodus and it ran into the street. But when Susan shot at it, it ran off rather then chasing us.

"Huh, you'd think an animal designed to kill would put a bit more effort into murdering us," she said as she lit up a cigarette.

"Come on I know where to go," said Jack.

We drove to an airfield where we oppened a hangar revealing a Biosyn jet.

"Here, we can use this jet to fly to Biosyn valley, Lewis Dodgson kept records of many Black market opperations, we can dig into them to find more about MediAustro, that is if the UN hasn't found them" Jack said.

"Wait, I recognize this plane," said Helen "this is the same aircraft that was used to transport Maisie Lockwood in 2022, its controled by the Amber Clave, why do you have it?"

"Oh, Dodgson did everything he could to maintain his reputation, back in 2021 when the Amber Clave threatened to leak files about Hexapod allies, he asked me to keep 'em quiet. In return he said he would give me access to certain Biosyn files on the Amber Clave, but I knew Biosyn wouldn't last much longer, especially with a man like Dodgson in charge and the plnned release of the locusts that year, so instead I asked for clearance to Biosyn valley, therfore I can use this plane," Jqck told us.

With that we got on the plane and took off. The Atrociraptors were flown on a helicopter back to the San Albertus Peninsula until futher notice.

Trucks beep and workers are shouting. we need to get ready.

In one hour we board a helicopter to fly to Valletta. To hack into an Amber Clave computer and discover why they wanted to steal out data files, and hopefully get back the stolen info.

"well hello Johnson," said Jack walking up behind me.

"What do you need," I said

"nothing really, we just need to load up the Atrociraptors, and load them onto the cargo plane," he replied

We walked over to the Atrociraptor pen where workers had set up 4 blue cages where some goat meat was set up. As we watched the Atrociraptors slowly emerge from the woods, I whispered to Jack

"what are their names"

Jack replied; "their names, from left to right, are Tiger, Ghost, Red, and Panthera."

"many people fear the Atrociraptors, and believe them to be cold blooded and heartless killers. But they're not, the 4 of them have a deep bond, if one of them is in trouble. Even when we're using them in combat, if one of them is injured then the rest will come to their aid."

"how do you use them in combat?" I asked

"we have a special laser that we can use to sic them on a someone," replied Jack, "but they're a last resort, we want to kill as few people as possible, which is why our guns hold tranquilizers rather then real bullets. If we really need to use real bullets then we use our emergency backup pistol, or in some cases, rifle."

As we walked over to the helicopters that would take us to Valletta, Jack showed me an Ipad that had different species of Dinosaurs we may encounter.

"Markets around the world have bred dinosaurs to serve tasks, mostly combat, that's what the Amber Clave used the Atrociraptors for in the Central Intelligence Agency's raid. Then we stole them." Jack tells me.

"what's that one," I say, pointing to a picture of a ceratosaurus like dinosaur.

Jack replies; "That's a Carmelopodus, 26 foot long ceratosaurid from Morocco and the USA. One of the many Theropods used by traffickers, along with the Atrociraptors and Arkansaurus. I've even heard there are rumors that a market once attempted to use the Gar."

"the Gar, that probably worked as well as I think it would," I reply

"yes, it's said that's how the one that caused the Muskegon incident and the owner of the market was the illegal dinosaur breeder who released it," says Jack.

Once we're in the helicopter, Helen Bryers says "so, what's your story," looking at me.

"Me?" I say "well I come from South Dakota, my dad was a lawyer and my mom as professor at the University."

I know I'm probably going to die in this mission, but at least this conversation will take my mind off it.

WARNING; this post contains violence and drug use

WEOO WEOO WEOO. The alarms are going off. All of a sudden a car comes speeding around the corner at around 70 miles per hour.

"That must be the raiders," says Jack.

"what are raiders?" I ask.

Jack replies: "people conducting espionage on the market, authorities or rival markets trying to get information, there's more to it but we don't have time"

We run over to where the trucks are parked.

"where's Steve," Jack shouts to a mechanic who's reading a newspaper and smoking a cigarette.

"he's out sick, remember?" the mechanic replies.

"Crap, guess you'll just have to do Johnson, hop in," says Jack

"Wait but.."

"No time," Jack cuts me off "lets go."

I've never driven a truck at 70 miles per hour before, and I'll tell you that it is not fun. But as my old man once said: It builds character. As we were chasing the the car that had been following them must of hit a rock or was shot because it started spinning around and crashed.

"Pick up 1 is down, I repeat pick up one is down," Jack shouted into a radio attached to the center counsel. "looks like it's up to us" he said to me

As soon as the first truck was destroyed the raiders started driving to one of the paddocks. Apparently on the dashboard of each DPM truck there is a button that you use to open the paddocks gate. Well the raiders truck is a stolen DPM truck so they had to have the button. They opened the gate, and to our surprise, started to drive in.

"OH NO, WE HAVE TO DRIVE INTO THE ATROCIRAPTOR PEN!" screamed Jack.

Not long after we drove in , the Atrociraptors began to follow they bumped our car and tried to break it. It's no surprise since most animals are very territorial. However we seriously out weighed them and eventually they backed off.

Upon leaving the paddocks Jack said "here I'll drive, you take my gun and try to shoot the car". he handed me a pistol and we traded spots. I leaned out the window and began firing at the tires but for some reason they wouldn't pop.

"Why aren't they poping?" I shouted

"they're solid rubber , you can't pop them, you need to shoot something that will stop the car from working, like the engine," replied Jack

"How do I do that?" I asked

"try to shoot the hood and break it off," replied Jack

Before I could shoot it, the car must have hit something because it ran off road and crashed into a medium sized lagoon.

"I'm going after them," I said.

"No Johnson, don't..." but before Jack could finish his sentence I jumped into the water and swam up to the car.

The door must have been jammed because the people inside clearly couldn't get out. I broke the window to get in.

"Tell me who you work for" I demanded "and I save you"

"we'd rather die then give you info," said one of the raiders

Before I can interrogate I notice one of the raiders has a souvenir shirt from Valletta.

"You guys are stealing info for the Amber Clave," I said

"think a bit higher then that," one of the raiders replies

Before I could say anything more, the truck sank below the water. As I swam out, I saw a dark shadow approaching the truck. as it approached I realized that it was a massive armored fish. approximately the size of a great white shark. "A dunkleosteus," I thought. I need to get out of here. As I swam up, it followed. just before it could crush me in it's jaws, a hand pulled me out of the water and into a raft. there I was greeted by a female DMP official. as I looked out at the lagoon I saw blood surfacing, one of the dunks must have killed one of the raiders.

As we set back to the shore we saw a drone fly down to the water. One of the raiders stuck their hand out and plugged a USB drive into it. "SHOOT IT, QUICK!" I shouted. but it was too late, the drone flew off and the other raider was killed by the dunkleosteuses.

Back on the shore I told Jack about what happened. "Do you know what they meant by something higher?" I asked.

"No idea" replied Jack, "but I think we may need to launch an investigation."

"alright you're the new guy on the market" said Jack Davis. "Well let me tell you something, It's not easy. Everyone is always in awe at first when they see a dinosaur and forget that these are some of the most deadly animals in the animal kingdom, and nothing can prepare you for when they attempt to kill you.

Now everyone who joins the market must go through these tests, so get ready."

Before the tests I got my height, weight and age recorded along with medical records. Once those were taken care of we went out to the training area where there was a massive rock wall. "Okay Johnson, I want you to climb up that rock wall in 2 minutes." said Jack. "2 minutes, that must be impossible, also where are the ropes and stuff you need when climbing rock walls" I asked. "there are mats to catch you, there won't be ropes when you need to do this in the field. "

It probably took me about ten tries to finally get to the top in 2 minutes (the thing was around 15 meters high). When I finally did it I laid there for 10 minutes before Jack told me to come down. "next up is the pool, you don't need to get a swim suit, you'll need to do it in your clothes". I groaned, it made it worse when he told me I had to get to the end of the 20 meter pool in a minute.

After about 5 hours of hard work, I finally passed all the tests. "here, have some water" said Jack and he tossed me a plastic water bottle. "what are the Atrociraptors doing here?" I asked. "When the Amber clave market was raided by the CIA a year ago those Atrociraptors were all stolen by DPM officials. One was stuck in a cage, one was wandering around the outskirts of the island, one had been knocked unconscious because it was slammed into a car and one washed up on the shore and had nearly drowned, we brought them here and gave them medical attention before giving them a new home>"

"WHAT IS THAT!?" I said in shock as a massive theorpod walked into view that was in a near by paddock. "that is an NHMG 8500, a giant megaraptorian from Asia." said Jack. "what's its scientific name?" I asked. "doesn't have one yet, there are hundreds of dinosaurs that await scientific names. some of them can't even get scientific names like NHMG 8500 which was only known from teeth before we cloned it." said Jack

All of a sudden an alarm sounded. "A raid!" shouted Jack. "get to a car, NOW!"

"you know how the dinosaur outbreak started" said the man.

"yeah" I responded,

"in 2018 just before the Mount Simbo eruption on Isla Nublar, a team of mercenaries went to the island and captured a selection of dinosaurs which were then transported to Lockwood Manor in California.

But after the genetic hybrid escaped for unknown reasons, the whole thing was shut down and the dinosaurs broke loose.

After hundreds of sightings reported across the area, the government concluded that dinosaurs had been released.

Due to trafficking and illegal breeding, dinosaurs spread across the world."

"correct" the man said "when the dinosaurs began spreading that's when the markets started appearing.

most were small and confined to one location, however 2 markets began rising to global power; Duckhunt's prehistoric market and the Amber Clave market.

We had positive relations at first but eventually we started competing for dinosaurs as more and more species began reappearing.

And here's the controversy: over the past month we've been getting evidence that the Amber Clave market is using espionage to steal information from us and give it to another organization of higher power."

"that's bad" I said. "I guess all need to watch out for that".

Everything in the facility was packed. Trucks and forklifts were carrying dinosaurs and supplies across the campus.

At the airfield was a cargo plane unloading some kind of giant troodontid.

"Latenivenatrix mcmasterae" said the man. 'she'll be taken to the medical center to receive her medications and get treated if she has any injuries. After that she'll be in quarantine for a week before being moved to a new habitat."

We stopped at a building where the man introduced me to Jack Davis.

"Jack here will be in charge of your training, you'll be working with him for the most part." said the man.

"so you're Albert" said Jack "we've got a lot to talk about"

As we walked into the building I noticed 4 dromaeosaurs in a paddock that looked like velociraptors with boxier heads. 3 of them were orange and red while on of them was white. "Atrociraptors" I whispered.

But what were they doing here?

For the dinosaurs I'm thinking about adding all the species from JWE2 plus the ones we did on the wiki. If you have any suggestions share them in the comments

So, the synapsids from the Permian they rarely get attention in paleomedia and the only time they have played a major role in Paleomedia was in Walking With Monsters, where as in every other piece of paleomedia like Jurassic Park, The Land Before Time, Prehistoric Planet, 65, they either never show up or just show up very briefly, and some of those brief appearances of Permian Synapsids are usually the more popular ones like Dimetrodon or Lystrosaurus. Like we never see Anteosaurus in The Land Before Time or Tapinocephalus in 65. Which I think is very unfair to Permian Synapsids as they are more interesting than Dinosaurs in my opinion. So why don't they get more attention?

Who would win a fight between the Giga from Jurassic World Dominion or this maybe Tyrannosaurid with an ultra hard to pronounce name, I think the JWD Giga would win

Can someone draw the Giga from JWD eating this "Megacephalosaurus", and maybe the Land Before Time Giga also due to how ugly his teeth are
