These files were seized after a raid on a suspected location used by the Anti-Ingen Foundation. The Anti-Ingen Foundation is an insurgent/terror group based on trying to take down the company Ingen. The location was raided by a paramilitary task force from Amber Private Military Company. All of the following is untrue information.
FILE 1, INGEN-AND-TUN-CI.TXT:
If you are watching this, you either want to join our foundation, or you're one of Ingens little slaves. Either way, if you read these files, you will see what Ingen is REALLY up to.
But if you want to hear the history of Ingen, we have to start where it all began. The five deaths. The five deaths are from an island chain off the coast of Costa Rica. These islands were originally inhabited by a people known as the Tun Ci tribe. The Tun ci tribe are theorized to have either come from somewhere in Oceania by boat. They peacefully lived on the islands for a few thousand years, until the Spanish empire came.
The spanish empire colonized Isla Nublar, and Isla Muerta. However, they didn't have much luck on Muerta, as the colony was plagued with disease and they eventually left. Isla Nublar was only used as a port to restock their ships if they ever passed by, although not much else happened with them.
The other islands, Isla Matanceros, Isla Pena, Isla Tacano, and Isla Sorna were never colonized, although the Tun Ci tribe lived on these islands too. Eventually, the spanish empire fell, and decolonized it’s territories, and the Tun Ci tribe went back to living peacefully, although not for long. When World War One happened, the US government needed a new company to make medicine for the troops. That’s when Ingen was founded.
Ingen was originally founded as a pharmaceutical company. It stayed like that until the 1930’s after experimenting with DNA and the human genome. Nobody knows what the result of these experiments were. Every mention we found of them in their records is redacted or completely deleted. All we know is that 21 people were experimented on and only two of them lived. This could have led to further experiments on humans, such as Maisie Lockwood.
It’s unknown how or why Ingen became so obsessed with reviving prehistoric life. There are rumors that they made the first creatures as weapons for the US army/Marines to counter the rumored German weapon the “Hound of mons.” All of this information is very shaky though. In 1944 Ingen purchased the five deaths off of the Costa Rican government as a location to do their experiments.
When they found the Tun Ci tribe, they were furious, they didn't want anyone seeing what they would do on the island. Ingen hired mercenaries, and they killed thousands of the Tun Ci tribe. This was known as the cloud island massacre. They then created a very small reservation for them on Isla Nublar, similar to the Native American reservations in the USA. The American government turned a blind eye to this genocide going on in the islands, as Ingen was helping them build weapons. All remaining members of the Tun Ci tribe fled into the jungles of the islands, quietly living in fear.
Almost nothing is left in Ingens records from the years 1944-1993 as they have deleted most of what was still in there. What we do know is what the islands were used for.
Isla Nublar was originally used to see what a prehistoric ecosystem would look like. (all of the island was used, except the reservation) Seemingly, Ingen got bored with this prehistoric ecosystem experiment, and in the 1950’s, got the US air force to do a few “Practice” bombing runs on the island, completely destroying any prehistoric life left on Isla Nublar.
Isla Sorna was never used in any proper capacity until the 1980’s. It was only used as an airbase to get employees on and off the islands. One weird thing we found is that it implied there was also a US military base on Isla Sorna.
Isla Tacano was turned into a headquarters where the higher ups of the company lived. This is also seemingly where they did most of their experiments with marine life.
Isla Pena was not used at all, and Isla muerta, and Isla Matanceros were used for most of their genetic experiments until the 1980’s.
But, after being forced to live on reservations and the jungles, the Tun Ci tribe began to rise up in the 1960’s. They attacked Ingen employees, and sabotaged some of their buildings. Ingen brought their mercenaries back but this time the Tun Ci were prepared. Somehow, during this, the Soviet Union became aware of the activity on these islands.
They were very eager to help the Tun Ci, they gave them weapons and training so that they could use the islands as a base to spy on America with. The Tun Ci agreed. The Tun Ci tribe managed to fully capture Isla Pena, Isla Muerta, and Isla Sorna. Then, Ingen had enough. They asked the USA for help, and the US Marines landed on all of the captured islands and destroyed any resistance by the Tun Ci. But the one piece of resistance they couldn't destroy was the Tun Ci on Isla Pena.
The tribe's people used the jungles as cover, similar to the Vietnamese in the Vietnam War. The marines were starting to get annoyed that they couldn't win against these tribespeople, so they called in tanks. Ingen was also starting to get annoyed, and did one of the worst possible things.
They corralled some of their experimental creatures into shipping containers, which were attached to helicopters. The helicopters then opened the shipping containers over Isla Pena while the US marines were just landing on it.
It wasn't pretty. Only 37 of the 400 marines that landed there survived. It was covered up by the US Media, and all of the Tun Ci tribe on that island was wiped out. The remaining tribespeople all relocated to either the reservation on Isla Nublar, and there are rumors that some relocated to Isla Sorna, where there are a few unsubstantiated claims that they live on the island to this day.
After this incident the USA decided to stop funding to Ingen but never actually shut down the company, after all, Ingen had at least denied the Soviets a base. Ingen continued with their experiments without funding. They did this by selling things on the black market. What they sold is unknown, but it got them enough money to keep themselves afloat and keep doing experiments.
