Jurassic Park (film)

I haven’t drawn this creature in wayyyyyy too long, it’s been over half a year since I drew it last I think. Anyways, the Paleo-Accurate version is based on the Rex in Prehistoric Planet (and I really hope I got the accuracy right), JP is based on the main Rex from the movies, and the other ones are just from the top of my head cause I don’t use references for either. My stylized drawings are usually JP/JW-leaning, though, and that might be a little obvious lol

The next entry is going to be a drawing of the first dinosaur the guests saw in Jurassic Park!

So it's kinda like super smash bros but it has dinos and levels

So there is tiers

Common (light blue)

Rare (dark blue)

Super rare (green)

Apex predator (brown)

Deathly (red)

Hybrid (purple)

Here's the dinos I have added already

First line:Raptor, Cerato, Trike, mapusaurus, theri, allo, carno

Third line:Acrocanthosaurus, Rex, spino

Last line:Giga, kileskus

So here's the levels

LVL 1:Most of the time a accurate one (the ones that are in the picturesl

LVL 2:Just a stronger version

LVL 3:A elemental version (Rock, Water, Fire, lightning)

LVL 4: the same thing but a little bit different

LVL 5: a really weird version

LVL 6:Go's either 2 ways they either go on all fours but has a giant bite or Go's on 2 feet and has alot of hand or leg usage

LVL 7:for every dino except rex it becomes a really strong version of itself (or for spino it just becomes a big Oxalaia) and rex becomes the Jurassic franchise one

LVL 8:Most of the time just the Jurassic franchise version (except for the dilo and like 2 others)

I just need suggestions for new dinos, all the dinos elementals, healths and the dino raritys

If you suggest one you have to provide their elemental, their rarity, their health, their damage and send a picture of their LVL 1, LVL 6 and LVL 8

So as y’all know, I did a series called Duckhunt’s prehistoric market, that was set in the JP universe. Well, the series kinda got hard to write, I didn’t feel like I was putting much effort into it, and the characters felt really one dimensional. So I’m gonna put it on hold for a while and do something else, specifically a new western story about dinosaurs set in Alaska that I’ll be posting in a few days.

Before we get into this I wanted to say that some characters are dinopedia users but Jurassic Park characters and not too many users said what characters they wanted to be so I’m using random users for different characters anyways on with the show.

Oh and by the way I’m skipping to the brachiosaurus scene at the beginning because of the other scenes not being that interesting.

It was the First of October, 2021, as the sun rose over California. The morning was dressed in a thin layer of snow, no more than three inches thick on the ground. Trees whistled as the last of the autumnal leaves fell to the floor with a satisfying crunch.

A farmer, living away from the main cities, awoke. In a tired daze, he stumbled lazily down the stairs. Unawares at to what awoke him from his slumber, he fetched his hunting rifle, and stepped out the door. Clutching a torch in hand, as it was not yet bright enough to rely upon the sun, he checked over his animals one by one.

He had several animals on his farm, but it was mostly his Cattle. He checked the herd first, and noticed that the shed where they slept was devoid of all creatures. Instead, there was a massive section of wall that had been smashed through.

The farmer cursed to himself, as his eyes scanned the field for any cattle. Eventually, he caught the gaze of a lone female, standing in almost a trance, staring coldly at the woods beyond her pen. The fence in front of her was torn down, but she didn’t dare cross.

The farmer ventured beyond the destroyed fence, clutching his rifle in hand. However, no more than twenty-something metres into the dense woodland did he hear a soft growl. He cocked the rifle and walked slower, taking longer paces. Eventually, he caught sight of movement within the bushes, and crouched down, ready to aim… but all of a sudden, the jaws of a massive Carnotaurus clamped over him from behind, shaking the poor man around viciously, before the Carnotaur retreated back into the woodland.

The world had entered a new era. One with a future uncertain. Welcome, to the Jurassic World!

There are quite a few upcoming dinosaur-related series and movies coming in 2024 and 2025.

Which ones are you excited for and which ones did I forget? :)

Of course, there's Forgotten Bloodlines: Agate, qhich to be honest, I'm most excited for. It's all about the fauna of Agate Fossil Beds in Nebraska, 20 million years ago. It's featuring the great Nigel Marven as narrator and its coming in early 2025 (hopefully).

It's amazing how a project made by a group of amateurs (no offense to the creators) looks better than paleo docs made by professional studios (maybe even Life On Our Planet).

Dinosaur Empire, from what I know, seems to be a dinosaur documentary that features segments without narration, like Dinotasia. David Krentz, who has worked on design and character creation for countless other film projects (helped design for Prehistoric Planet, I think), is co-directing. Hopefully this doesn't mean anthropomorphic dinosaurs.

Like FBA, this series was on Kickstarter. It looks pretty good in terms of CGI and dinosaur designs. Coming in March 2024 unless delayed.

Unlike the other paleo docs here, Why Dinosaurs? focuses on dino fans today. It appears to be all about people who love dinosaurs and why they do. Looks like a few popular paleontologists (Jack Horner, Peter Larson, etc.) are hopping on to talk.

This dinosaur documentary, creatively titled T. rex, is all about T. rex. The Rex on the poster looks pretty great in terms of accuracy, and hopefully we finally get T. rex recreated properly onscreen (the description says it aims to do so).

he production company also made some other paleo docs in the past, such as Titans of the Ice Age.

Then of course, there's Surviving Earth. Not much is known, except that Tim Haines (Walking With...) is making it, 8 episodes will be featured, and that it's streaming on NBC. hopefully it's as good as Walking With Dinosaurs was in 1999.

There is also ARK: The Animated Series, an anime show based on a video game about riding dinosaurs and punching trees. This show is never coming out.

Even though none if you have heard of the Jurassic Park franchise 🗿, I don't have time to explain it. However, an unnamed 7th Jurassic film has been confirmed for 2025. The only big news so far is that David Koepp, who wrote the first 2 films, is returning to write this one.

The head of the Department of Prehistoric wildlife has become suspicious of our research. After we fired Albert Johnson for the release of a juvenile 161GR1.1 (commonly known as The Gar). They were very displeased that we were keeping an individual without telling them. We could not tell them that our intentions were to kill it and dissect it to study its immune system. Instead we told them it was going to be put down because it was responsible for the Muskegon Camping indecent (in reality it was the juvenile's parent).

Under the UN's laws, killing a prehistoric animal that is not responsible for a human death and is not the last of its kind may not be killed. Johnson did not have enough information about the project to shut us down but we may need to relocate.
