Set in the year of 2054 in an Alternate Universe, the world has been ravaged by war, and many countries have been left abandoned. The people who survived either left earth, and those who couldn't afford to now live in the ruined planet. However, in the wake of this tragedy comes a new beginning. On an isolated island is a secret, something that should have remained hidden as it did so for millions of years, a lost world of sorts.
Several years prior, scientists discovered the island, and on it was a basal dinosaur. Using advanced technologies, they were able to manipulate the animals genome, and basically brought back to life a whole host of dinosaurs, from the docile Hypsilophodon and the defensive Centrosaurus to the ferocious Tyrannosaurus and cunning Dromaeosaurus.
When the survivors set out to find a new home after the war, their boat crash-lands on the island, leaving them stranded. Another group, however, steals an old boat and heads to their last known location; the island where dinosaurs now roam. During this RP, they protagonists uncover many secrets, and ultimately try to find the survivors before it is too late.

Starting the new year off with a bang.
It had been a month after the deaths of Zira, Zing, and Quicks, and ever since then, Speckles hasn't been the same, he was the most cheerful one out of his entire family, but now he was nothing more than a depressed dinosaur.
He wishes that what happened was just a nightmare, that he would wake up and see his siblings happily playing with each other, but it never happened, it wasn't a nightmare, it was all real, and the worst part? The one behind it all now lives in their old home.
One Eye has taken over Tarbo Mountain, without the Tarbosaurus family to stop him he now rules over this entire valley but he has cut ties with the Velociraptor Legion, yes he promised them food but he knows how deceptive they can be.
They're opportunistic, he guessed that the only reason they even bothered to help him was because of fear, he saw right through them when he persuaded them to assist him in the murder of Speckles' siblings.
once they gain his trust they would most likely try to overthrow him somehow, they have an entire legion of raptors and he's only one Tyrannosaurus, so who's to say that they would pass on the opportunity to kill him if they had the chance?
Speckles and Tania now live in the outskirts, and the mother Tarbosaurus now understood why One Eye wanted to take the throne from her, hunting out here is very difficult, especially since it's just Tania herself hunting, she hasn't found any other Tarbosaurus and her son hasn't been taught how to hunt yet, but even though she understands the reason why he took the throne, she does not agree with his methods, especially since the stampede incident only left her with one child.
She and her son now live near a stream that had a few big caves nearby, it was a far cry from their original home where they had a view of the entire valley which made it easier for them to locate their prey, but out here it seemed almost impossible.
The only things Tania has hunted ever since she and her son came here were small mammals and the occasional herbivore that would wander into their home, other than that she hasn't found a way to hunt down anything that would feed her and her son for a week.
Even though it was One Eye who killed him, Tania blames herself for not being able to save Quicks, if she wasn't knocked down during the stampede she might have had the strength within her to assist her son during the battle between him and that tyrant.
The former queen walked over to the stream and lowered herself in order to get a drink, she then started to drink the water as she was trying figure out a way to get back to her old home, and defeat One Eye.
Even though Tania was fairly young and healthy, she swore that she would never underestimate One Eye ever again after seeing what he did to her eldest son, Quicks was way younger and faster than the red tyrant and should have easily beaten him, but because of One Eye's experience, he was able to make short work of the prince, even with his damaged eye.
Tania had finally finished drinking, she turned her head to the left to look at her son, he has been staring at a Repenomamus corpse for over an hour now, she was beginning to get worried because her son hasn't eaten in a week, why would he pass up eating his food? Even if it was just a small mammal it would be enough to sustain him.
She moved in closer towards her son, and as she did she could see the depressed and defeated look on his face, it almost looked like he didn't care about his food.
"Mom?" Speckles asked in a depressed tone.
"Yes, son?" Tania spoke.
"Why did they have to die?" Speckles said.
Tania wasn't sure what to say to her son, she herself was also a killer, but she killed only to feed her family, she never killed anybody to claim territory because if she lost a territorial dispute then she would just walk away and accept her defeat, but that's not what One Eye did.
He went to the extra mile of hiring Velociraptors to do his work for him, she's sure of it that he commanded them since none of them targeted him during the stampede, they didn't even attempt to scratch him, they clearly have some type of mutual relationship at least that's what she thinks.
"You see son, some predators need territory and those predators also fight constantly to gain that territory " Tania answered.
Speckles didn't believe what his mother was saying, that couldn't have been the reason why his siblings were murdered in front of him, those raptors were clearly up to something, he just doesn't know what they were planning.
Speckels has been wondering who that red creature was and what kind of relation he had with his family, he seemed to have known Quicks and his mother so it's clear that they've met before.
"Who was that red monster?" Speckles asked again.
"His name is One Eye, he is a Tyrannosaurus Rex, me and him had actually met back then before you were born, back when I was younger me and your father were fighting everyday just to have a stable home here, and when we finally found a good place to settle down an outsider came, One Eye had migrated from another valley to this one, he had challenged me to a fight but I defeated him and I guess, ever since that day he has had a grudge on me" Tania explained.
So they do have some sort of history with each other, but to Speckles, that still isn't a good reason for One Eye to kill his siblings, he had a grudge on his mother so why would he even bother with Quicks of all people?
"It's not fair" Speckles' heart was banging like a drum, he has never felt this much anger in his entire life.
"Speckles?" Tania asked in a worried tone.
"IT NOT FAIR! why did they have to kill Zira, Zing, and Quicks?! Why did they ever do to them?!" Speckles cried out as he stomped on the ground.
Admittedly, Tania does respect the law of the wild, it's kill or be killed, but even though she has no problem with killing others, she doesn't take it lightly when somebody kills a family member of hers, it's just a natural response.
Seeing her most cheerful child in a rage fueled state like this hurt her, if it weren't for that monster he would still be happy, Quicks had always promised him that if he grows up, he'll be the one to teach his little brother how to hunt, but with him gone that will never be possible.
That is just the reality of life, it will rarely go your way, and even when it does, half the time it still stabs you in the back.
"I'll kill him, once I grow up I'll throw that thing off a cliff as well, he'll pay for Quicks, THEY'LL ALL PAY!" Speckles shouted.
A tear came down Tania's right eye, this is what One Eye has done to Speckles, he has broken him down, he practically tortured him by letting him watch Quicks as he died, this is what her son has become because of all the pain he's suffered, he just can't handle it.
Tania had to comfort him, if not he might go down a path that will end with him dying and she doesn't want to lose her youngest son, the only family she has left, that monster has already taken enough from her, she won't let him take Speckles.
She lowered herself to her son, she could hear him growling uncontrollably, she's never seen this much hatred from a Tarbosaurus, except for her mate.
"Patch, if only you were here" Tania thought.
She remembered Patch's death vividly, she has nightmares about his death almost every night, at first she thought it was stupid that he'd attack a Therizinosaurus just because he killed one of their children but then it sunk in, it killed one of their children who wasn't even a year old.
"They'll be gone once I grow up, I'll -" Speckles was cut off as his mother started to nuzzle him.
"Shhhh, they'll get what's coming to them some day son, but please, don't go down that path, you're too young for that, I don't want you to end up dead once you get into your first fight as an adult" Tania whispered.
"B-but, t-they..." Speckles stuttered.
"I know, son, I know, but right now you need to focus on growing up instead of trying to get revenge at such a young age, you still have a lot to learn but don't worry, I promise you that I will teach you and when a mother makes a promise she intends to deliver on that promise, at least that's what my mom told me, I will help you avenge your siblings, but now is not the right time to do that, you'll just have to be patient" Tania said softly.
"O-okay, I love you mom" Speckles said.
"I love you too, my little Speckles" Tania sighed in relief.
It will be hard for them to survive out here but Tania will do everything in her power to ensure that her eldest son and her daughters will be avenged, so they can rest knowing that their family will have a bright future.
RAAGH! RAAGH! RAAGH!
The tender moment between mother and son was quickly interrupted when Tania heard the calls of some kind of predator, or in this case, a group of multiple predators.
Tania orders her son to get into one of the caves and he does as his mother instructs him to do and Tania follows suit by getting into the cave her son did.
Speckles was worried, for all he knows that could be One Eye and if it is then they're done for, he saw how easily he took down Quicks and even though he does want to kill him, Speckles himself doesn't want to die this early into his life.
But Tania heard something else.
It was something calling out for help, if she were to guess what it was then it would probably be some kind of herbivore, and she'd be right since a small one just happened to run past the stream.
It was an Ornithopod, or to be more specific, a Hypsilophodon, they are one of the fastest herbivores in the valley, but even this thing won't be able to escape what was chasing it.
Tania looked around her home, and she quickly pulled her head back into the cave as soon as she saw those annoying little pests, in these parts of the valley they were almost everywhere.
The relentless Velociraptors were in pursuit of the herbivore, the one in the front was their alpha who was covered in dark purple feathers and she had a red streak of feathers running down the center of her back, she also had some facial scarring, and she had a squad of six.
"SOMEBODY HELP!" The Hypsilophodon screamed.
"No one's helping you, stupid little punk" one of the raptors mocked.
The thing about these thing is that they don't hunt like how Tania and most of the other predators hunt, she hunts like how most predators do, all she needs to do is ambush her prey and kill it, simple as that, it's easy to understand and it's effective but raptors have their own way of hunting, and it's much more sinister.
What they do boils down to them targeting their prey's insecurities and using those against them, they break them down and torture them until they can't take any more of it, Tania despises this way of hunting and it's why she hates these raptors.
However, what if she followed them? Even with their numbers she's still more powerful then all of them and she can kill them with one bite, if she kills enough of them then it might be enough to feed both her and her son for at least a week or two.
"Speckles, I need you to stay in here, I'm going to hunt down those raptors, we can't live off of small animals forever" Tania whispered.
"You'll come back, right?" Speckles asked in a worried voice, he cant lose his mother too, he just watched his siblings get killed in front of him.
"I promise son, I will come back, and when I do you'll have enough food to last us days" Tania smiled as she left the cave.
She followed the scent of the raptors, and as she did, Tania made sure to look around her surroundings just in case if there were other predators in this area, for all she knows One Eye could be out here but she doubted it since he already has enough food to last him a lifetime.
Tania eventually approached a bridge made out of rocks and steam was rising from below, she remembered this place very well and knew that it was not a good place to be in, she and Patch used to live here but after finding out that it wasn't suitable for their children they left without looking back once.
She reluctantly crossed the bridge, even though she knows how dangerous this place is, she still needs to feed her son and will do whatever is necessary to feed him.
The raptors then corner the Hypsilophodon near a Torosaurus skeleton, half of the skeleton was missing and the only parts that were visible were the ribs and the head, the herbivore looked around, trying to find a way out, perhaps it could try to find a bigger herbivore so these raptors will leave, it doesn't even matter how many herbivores there are, it just wants to escape these relentless predators.
"Hey boss, should we go for the liver or the eyes first?" One of the raptors asked.
"I say we go for the organs instead" another one argued.
"Enough, I will decide who gets to eat first and where to strike, anyways, we shall rip it's worthless head off first!" The alpha cackled.
"Please, please don't!" The Hypsilophodon begged.
"Stop whining you misrable crybaby!" The alpha lunged forwards as the Ornithopod sprinted again.
As the alpha ran, one other raptor joined her, this one had a dark blue streak running down his back and he was the most impatient out of the pack.
The Hypsilophodon ran as fast as it's legs could take it and it was actually managing to pull ahead, until it's legs stopped moving for seemingly no reason.
It looked down, only to see it's legs stuck in what looked to be the ground, that was impossible, how come it was stuck in the ground when it has been running just fine before this?
It was not long before it realized that it wasn't stuck in the ground, it was stuck in a tar pit and at this point there was no way out, so instead of struggling, it just accepted it's fate.
"Retreat, there's more prey to hunt" the alpha commanded.
"I ain't going home empty handed, boss!" The raptor with the blue streak said as he leaped into the air and onto the sinking dinosaur.
The other raptors started chatting with each other, they thought of that blue streaked one as nothing more than a fool, they may not know what this pit is, but there's clearly no way out of it.
Tania herself was nearby, she watched the whole thing go down and this was the exact reason she and Patch left this place, if their children were to get stuck there, they wouldn't be able to come out.
"What an imbecile" Tania said to herself.
The raptor started clawing the Ornithopod, he didn't even notice that he was sinking along with it, the other raptors scoffed and retreated just like their alpha said.
But just like the Hypsilophodon, it too noticed that it was being dragged deeper into the pit, and it started calling for it's pack to help it, but they didn't come back and as the raptor sunk, he took one last breath before the pit consumed him.
However, this pack that used to be six will only be leaving with two.
The former queen of the valley rushed into the squad with her mouth open, she caught one of the raptors in her jaws while she pushed another into the ground, one of them jumped on her back but she shook it off and after that she spat out the first raptor she killed in order to kill the one that jumped on her.
Tania made short work of the raptor that jumped on her, she grabbed it by the tail and it was violently slammed into the ground, and as for the one she pushed, she simply stomped on it, only two of the six raptors were left, and as they were about to leave, the alpha shot Tania a glare right as she retreated.
