I don't have much to update on stuff, other than we are gonna try to go as far south as possible. Probably to the Florida Keys. The reason being, winters already starting. Keep in mind, its September, and snows already falling. I don't know why it's falling already. Apparently @Theyarehere343 texted me thinking it might be the nukes the Russians dropped on themselves to get rid of their own infestation of dinosaurs.
Anyhow, keep in mind we are a bunch of teenagers in a world ruled by dinosaurs, so we barely know what we are doing, so if you have any suggestions, feel free to put them in the comments. Same thing if you have any questions.
We usually wake up at around 9:30 AM, we sleep in just to get as much rest in as possible. It's pretty important because we travel for like, 90% of the day.
Breakfast if possible happens at around 10:00 AM. Usually isnt possible though, we need to conserve as much food as possible.
After breakfast, we start traveling. Usually we walk. It's the most quiet way, we found out the hard way when we used a car that it's to loud, and the dinosaurs are smart enough to use ambush tactics.
We stop to get gasoline out of any abandoned cars we find, usually its not much or none at all. We dont use it to drive cars, like I said, we use it to create fires easily.
We also stop for food and water, obviously. We made a primitive water purification system, so we just get water out of rivers or ponds. All my friends are fine, by the way.
We have lunch, with the food we have. It's usually not much. If I have to estimate it, i've probably lost 20 pounds since this whole thing started.
If we see any dinosaurs, we usually hide and wait for them to go away. If they have seen us, we arm ourselves and fight. We havent gotten unlucky yet. Keyword, YET.
If we see the lights, we get under any cover we can find. We can't fight them and I doubt we will be able to with the supplies we have. They have found us a few times though. Luckily we escaped all three of those times.
If we run into other people, we also hide. I've heard rumors from friendly people that there's people who will kill you on sight for your materials.. Or enslave you for manual labor. Or worse. That's one thing I fear more than the dinosaurs or the lights. Sick fucks.
We usually dont eat dinner either. Sometimes, but not much. And yes, we have eaten dinosaur. The ones with long legs and long necks taste the best, if you have ever eaten. I think they are called Gallimimus? They still attack though.
There also isnt much for entertainment. Books still exist, and we can still talk, and sometimes draw, but it isnt like it used to be. Back before everything went to shit. Before the dinosaurs came back.
We go to sleep at sundown. Not much else to do at night, if you keep a light on it will attract unwanted attention.
One of us will stand on gaurd for two hours, and then awake one of the others to switch our shifts so we all can be awaken if something is coming, and so that we all get equal sleep. We can tell time via the phone.
