Typically Entelodonts are reconstructed with heads similar to modern pigs, with there bones pointing out, which resemble warts.
But hippos have a similar skull shape to entelodont, with those bones sticking out.
But hippos don’t have wart-like structures from bones sticking out, their heads look like this.
And entelodonts were more closely related to hippos than pigs, so how do we know that they didn’t just have heads like hippos?
