A new study challenges the idea that Stygimoloch is a synonym of Pachycephalosaurus
https://www.scup.com/doi/10.18261/let.57.4.7
The study states that fossils discovered in the Ferris Formation supports the hypothesis that Stygimoloch is a distinct genus. More however, the study also classifies UCMP 119433, a spike from an adult Pachycephalosaurid, as a Stygimoloch specimen. However the study also states that Dracorex is still invalid and is a synonym of Stygimoloch.
The study was published way back in January, but I thought it was still worth sharing.

Battle 1:
Dracorex:
- Lenght: 3 meters
- Weight: 45 kilograms
- Weapons: Head dome and head spikes
Deinonychus
- Lenght: 3 meters
- Weight: 73 kilograms
- Weapons: Sickle claws, Hand claws, Sharp claws
The Battle: A Dracorex is peacefully eating some plants, but a Deinonychus jumps down at him from a tree. Dracorex manages to dodge it and he responds by whacking his opponent with his head. He then charges at the predator and knocks him to the ground. Using his sickle claws, Deinonychus stabs Dracorex in the stomach. Dracorex charges at the Deinonychus again, but Deinonychus sidesteps it and bites the herbivore in the neck. Dracorex manages to shake him off. Deinonychus jumps at the Dracorex and pins him to the ground. He bites him in the neck again and this time manages to choke him out. After that he starts eating.
As of writing this post, Deinonychus has 62% of votes while Dracorex, 37%. Onto the next fight.
Battle 2:
Pachycephalosaurus
- Lenght: 4.5 meters
- Weight: 500 kilograms
- Weapons: Head dome
Aucasaurus
- Lenght: 5.5 meters
- Weight: 1000 kilograms
- Weapons: Strong jaw with sharp teeth
The battle:
2 Pachycephalosauruses are battling eachother when an Aucasaurus enters the scene. It's mating season for Pachy's now, so they're extremely agressive. The Aucasaurus isn't hungry and he doesn't want to get in a fight, so he starts walking away. The Pachys however notice him and start charging at him. They hit him in the side nearly knocking him to the ground. Aucasaurus let's out an angry roar. The Pachy's charge again. Aucasaurus manages to dodge one but he gets hit by the second one. Aucasaurus counter attacks by biting one of the Pachy's and throwing him at the other one. They get knocked to the ground and while they're trying to get up Aucasaurus aproaches. The predator bites one of them and snaps his neck. The other one gets up and charges at the Aucasaurus. He then whacks him with his head multiple times, but Aucasaurus manages to catch him. Aucasaurus throws him to the ground and stomps on his head to finish him off.
When it comes to votes this one's pretty weird because it's a 50/50 as of writing this. I didn't do this before, because usually there's a big diffirence between the votes and this wouldn't make any diffirence, but I'm not going to count my vote (and I voted pachy). This leaves Aucasaurus with 10 votes and Pachycephalosaurus with 9 votes (to lazy to calculate the percentage).
