Dacentrurus

I meant to post this sooner but uh…forgot. lol.

Anyway, the hybrid’s species name is Deinosteratos perhominem, meaning “Terrible Monster of Man”. His actual name is Sandstorm.

His genome consists of five different species, theee extinct ones and two still-existing ones.

• Postosuchus kirkpatricki (responsible for his overall body)

• Muttaburrasaurus langdoni (responsible for the inflatable nose sac)

• Dacenturus armatus (responsible for the dorsal plates and spikes)

• Diamondback Rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox) (responsible for the rattle, venom glands, a pair of fangs, and infrared vision)

• Sand Tiger Shark (Carcharias taurus) (responsible for heightened sense of smell, array of teeth, and increased mobility in aqueous environments)

Before I unveil the hybrid’s color scheme, here were the colors chosen by the spinner wheel:

1. Light Yellow

2. Maple Brown

3. Crimson Red

4. Green

5. Dark Brown

And here’s the hybrid’s color scheme!

I used light yellow for the underbelly and rattle, maple brown is the main color, crimson red is the color I used for the Muttaburrasaurus nose, the Dacenturus plates and eyes were colored a very bright neon-ish green, and dark brown for part of the back.

Now it’s time to give it a name. I want to give it two names: one for the hybrid and one that’s kind of just a general name. If you don’t really understand, I’ll give you an example. Angel and Rebel from Camp Cretaceous were named, but the name of their species was Spinoceratops (I’m not good at explaining things lmao)

So suggest names for the hybrid’s species itself, but also suggest names to give the hybrid (they can be male, female, or unisex names, idc).

Ok so the hybrid’s design has now been finished! Here’s the design. I’ll probably make some refinements on it digitally

Here are the components:

• Postosuchus kirkpatricki (for the main body)

• Muttaburrasaurus langdoni (for the nose thing)

• Dacenturus armatus (for the dorsal plates and spikes)

• Diamondback Rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox) (for the rattle, venom glands, and a pair of fangs)

• Sand Tiger Shark (Carcharias taurus) (for the hightened sense of smell, array of teeth, and allows the hybrid to swim a bit more efficiently)

Now it’s time to get a color scheme chosen. Everyone will suggest as many colors as they want, and then I will spin a wheel after a couple days or so. Five colors will be chosen, and I’ll incorporate them into my hybrid’s design somehow.

This is an inspired version of the Who Would Win: Ultimate Dinosaur Rumble. It'll have completely different dinosaurs of the same family of the dinosaurs that appeared in the Ultimate Dinosaur Rumble book (of course, it'll be more accurate and I'll try my best to make it less lopsided/one-sided as possible since the UDR book is inaccurate [yes, Who Would Win books are supposed to be educational, stfu] and has some pretty lopsided fights). If you don't know what I'm talking about, this is what I'm talking about.

Anyway, here are the brackets with completely different dinosaurs that are related to the dinosaurs that appear in the book.

1. Wiehenvenator (used to be Poekilopleuron) vs Dacentrurus

2. Achillobator vs Liaoningosaurus (I'm trying my best to not make it one-sided so just give me a break, alright)

3. Sinraptor vs Udanoceratops

4. Magyarosaurus vs Dilophosaurus (used to be Pachy)

5. Acrocanthosaurus (used to be Mapusaurus) vs Stegosaurus (ik, Stegosaurus is in the book stfu, idc)

6. Meraxes vs Tarbosaurus

7. Suchomimus vs Styracosaurus (again, I know that Styracosaurus is in the book yet I don't really care lol)

8. Saurophaganax vs Amazonsaurus

If any of these fights seem lopsided/one-sided to you, what fight would you rather replace this one-sided fight with? Tell me in the comments. Unless this would be considered a versus post, I'll be starting the first fight soon so stay tuned.
