Ever read or heard the names: Cristatusaurus, Vallibonavenatrix and Camarillasaurus? Or maybe Fukui Spinosaurid? All these dinosaurs were also spinosaurids in their own right and are usually overshadowed by the more popular spinosaurids such as Suchomimus, Oxalaia, Siamosaurus and Spinosaurus itself.
Cristatusaurus: An African spinosaurid that lives in the shadows of Suchomimus in its own time and in popular culture. At 30-33 feet this dinosaur wasn't the biggest in its area but it certainly was big enough to take down many dinosaurs, fishies and the like.
Vallibonavenatrix: a spinosaurid megalosauroid (have fun reading that) of Spain. Currently the most complete in the fossil record of that area, we see evidence of generalist behavior that would be similar to that of Suchomimus and Irritator as well as Itchyovenator. The dinosaurs mentioned are more related to this dinosaur than the likes of Baryonyx and possibly Suchosaurus. Fish and dinosaurs alike were its prey.
Camarillasaurus: not very popular because virtually nothing is known about it. Used to be considered a ceratosaur but after 2019 it was thought to be a member of the spinosaurid family. Hailing from Camarillas Spain, that's all we know about this dinosaur.
Fukui Spinosaurid: possibly the newest member of the spinosauridae, it was uncovered in Fukui, Japan. It likely lived during the early cretaceous period and that's about it.
Just cause dinosaurs like these aren't popular to the media, doesn't mean they weren't spectacular in paleoentology, and in life.
