This is Knight Isle, a remote island located in the North Atlantic Ocean. The year is 1925, and the reports of mysterious animals on the island have started to surface. A group of biologists go to investigate the rumours, and soon discover that the island is home to dinosaurs.
However, before we do that, we need to establish what the island is like first. And the biologists need your help in mapping the lost world they are heading towards.
How to contribute:
Screenshot the map at the top of the post, and select an area of it. You cannot choose an area someone has already chosen.
Describe the environment of the area: is it tropical or barren? Perilous cliffs or gentle plains?
What species live in the area? The first comment is a list of all the species on the island, all based off depictions by Charles R Knight, and you can choose whichever species you feel would be best suited for the specific environment. For example, if it is a swamp, you may want to include Brontosaurus.
You have until the 18th of July to submit a location, as that is when the Biologists need to finish preparations. They don’t know what to expect on this island, from the animals nor the terrain.

Volcanic Fields
Located beside the volcano on the east coast of the Isle, the soil is rich and fertile, attracting many herbivores, as well as those that hunt them… There are vast fields of tall grass, with many large trees around the borders. However, every few decades or so, the volcano has a minor eruption, disrupting the ecosystem temporarily before the plants eventually return.
