Gwangi 2: Return to the Valley is set in the modern day instead of 1925 (the first one is set in 1925). There hasn't been an expedition to the forbidden valley since the 1970's. This is because of a storm that left the valley hard to explore. The new expedition is to a part of the valley that wasn't explored, and there are some new species shown. Here are some possible ideas for new species:
A Caenagnathid Oviraptorosaur
A Chasmosaurine Ceratopsid
A Spinosaurid
A Thescelosaurid
An Iguanodontid
A Microraptorine Dromaeosaurid
An Ornithocheirid pterosaur
An Azhdarchid pterosaur
An Ankylosaurid
A Saurolophine Hadrosaur
A freshwater Plesiosaur
A Choristoderan
And maybe more if I either think of a good idea or see something suggested in the comments.
The first installment in the Gwangi reboot is here.

Dilong shakes him off and tries to bite him, but the Caenagnathus dodges the attack and slashes him in the face again.
