Remember that Pliosaur we saw in the trailer. Well, it's not a Pliosaur, it's actually a Basilosaurus. Even though we are not seeing Kronosaurus, its still nice to see some more mammal representation (click image to see caption).
We can actually see briefly in the commercial clip that its body was much longer than previously thought.

In addition, the companion book to the series was released yesterday, which confirmed several new animals, including Anomalocaris, Allosaurus, Erythrosuchus, and Otodus obliquus as shown below (pics from Reddit).
With all of these new animals confirmed, we can probably have higher hopes of the series that most episodes will not just have a majority of modern day animals. This will probably be one of my last LOOP posts, because I have been making an excessive amount of them.
