Archosauria

Pretty sure the title says it all, but i'm curious about how realistic would it be for any archosaur to store fat like that, let alone any living in the wild, as seen in this drawing from All Yesterdays? Would this be something influenced by climate, seasons, or any other such factors, or would they look like that all year round, if it's at all plausible?

Ah yes, the 2024 Archosaur Cup is finally here! The annual tournament where Dinopedia's community decide which new Archosaur was their favourite new species of the year!

(even tho nobody was really waiting for it)(none of these posts will even be in 2024)(I was 11 days late lmao)

As you could tell by the name, this tournament will feature all newly-described Archosaurs from last year, from the new aetosaurids to the new non-avian dinosaurs!

(as always birds won't be included unfortunately)

YOU guys will be the ones who will vote each round for which extinct animal you like more in each of these matchups, and obviously, the ones with the most votes will advance to the next round!

• Like last time there will be qualifying rounds before the knockout phase, and all the spots are randomly chosen!

• There is a total of 68 prehistoric creatures in this tournament, which is way more than the last tournament, which had 48.

Last time around Scolotosuchus was the winner (see here).
