-------
When we first pulled up to the warehouse we already knew we were gonna have an issue. From the blueprints we got, we knew this thing had few rooms and was abandoned. What they DIDN'T tell us was that the place wasn't just abandoned, it was full on decrepit. So, we got out, set up a ladder in a window, and got in. We look down into the empty warehouse when we exit the room and see the whole family of those god-forsaken lizards sleeping in the room. Ryan fired a shot into the roof to wake them up and scare them off, but it backfired. The whole family woke up, and one of the juveniles got pissed and ran up the stairs, pinned Crane to the ground and started tearing at his neck. By the time we shot it dead it was already too late. But it worked, and the rest of the family ran off.
We took a few minutes to recover and eventually we headed off (Body in the back of the truck obviously). We were about 20 minutes away from base when we found out the hard way the mission wasn't over just yet. One of the adults who was tailing us in the woods this whole time attempted to flip the Truck over but ended up front of the truck and basically kamikazed itself. Sarah and Ryan, who were driving, died in the initial crash. The rest of us got wounded, hell I had a broken hand. The rest of the family attacked us, and two of us got away in the chaos, me and Bryan.
I escaped into an old shed. Then I saw... something.
It was humanoid, but mechanical. It didn't have legs and it seemed to move using... chains like tentacles. It's hair also seemed to be made of chains. Its claws looked too heavy and too big for its body, with its fingers curled so much towards its hand that it looked like it was going to pierce its own hand. It was missing its lower jaw, though it seemed to have sharp teeth and a tounge. Its eyes seemed to switch colors every few second. It was pressed against the wall of the shed.
I booked it out of there. But then one of the adults tried to attack me, and that thing pounced it. It tore the abelisaur to absolute shreds in close to 20 seconds probably, and whenever the adult tried to bite it, it broke its jaw. Then the machine-thing slithered off into the snow.
Thankfully, backup showed up with a whole-ass machine gun and blew the rest of the abelisaur family to hell. Zoe somehow managed to live through the chaos until backup got there, and Brian thankfully found a house that let him in.
By the way, I'm not dealing with this shit anymore, I'm quitting.
